   I was in Blakeley's bar after attending at the Cenotaph, while waiting for my transport home,The service was first class, the bar area was spotless, a friendly welcome from some regulars, and my choice of refreshment was served with a smile and enjoyed by me.

   Blakely's a Pub,Bar. Yes at first glance' you could be forgiven 'for not realising that you are outside a Pub/Diner. Blakely's has it's own distinct style,reminiscent of the 1960'6 local pub, with it's "Victorian designed building "dating back 120 yr's. Blakely's Traditional post-war 1940's style exterior with excellent wood styled interior, also pay's attention to it's service's provided for it's list of loyal patron's. Being "Almost' (out in the stick's) off the radar! once inside Blakely's....well! it's a different world, great selection of Draught & bottled beer's, fine Malt's and great traditional 'Pub-Grub!" served up until 7.30 pm, sadly,children not catered Blantyre has 'Blakely's, it's No1 "Traditional Pub', so don't be put off by the location. Instead, visit and enjoy Blakely's and sample their great service, choice of beverage's and great food.
