    Not everyone's cup of tea but, do you know what, everyone is welcome and very friendly staff. When you walk through the door you're accepted and the punters will ensure you're looked after. Nice pub.

    This was the first pub I had a pint in. My da, my uncle John, my aunt Jacquie, my mum and a lovely lad named Chick. Very special place in my heart. I hadn't been back since 2000. Travelled back from Canada last summer to have a pint and a Coke with my son and they wouldn't even let him in. Definitely taken a downturn over the years. Place was tattered. Hurt the heart a bit to see it in such a state. Glad my memories are stronger of its glory days.
