Not a nice place at all. Bar staff far too nosey and far too dangerous. Worse than school people telling tales on people and spreading stories because people can’t help themselves. Bar me all you want!!! I don’t care!!! I’ll just keep reposting. Best to avoid this place!!!

Only pop in every few weeks for a Coca-Cola and sit with my bible praying for folks. I work for Teen Challenge in my day job so looking to make connections to help those in addiction. This is one of my "haunts". I am made very welcome.
It's a nice little pub to go and have a drink in, the staff are friendly and welcoming, the pub is clean and tidy.
Great place a enjoyed it was at a 60th Birthday party staff were really nice and made sure we got taxi home thanks ladies Christine from ruggy
On route to pick up dinner thought I would pop in for a pint (as I normally do after the game) was advised the bar was closed albeit it was in full swing. Told it was a private party on the way out. Pub trades a dying game, yet you turn away customers. Disgrace.
This is a pub, NOT an "Inn". The function room could do with a very serious makeover. Uneven dancefloor, banquettes, chairs etc badly needing re-covered, tables falling apart and lighting atrocious. Two saving graces. It's clean and staff at functions are ace.
The Lawburn is a great community pub. The staff are very friendly as are the customers and the drink is reasonably priced. I am now a regular in the Lawburn mainly because of the welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
