Love It. If you want to get the feel of a real local Scottish Pub go no further. This is the real deal. My cousins husband took me to his local for a pint and it was great. Inviting, warm, friendly. Plenty on tap too. I had a wonderful time just hanging out and taking it all in. Cheers!
I met Katie, Sam and Liam in the bar, they were brilliant. Amazing service, great chat, and probably the best Tennents in East Kilbride. Would give 10 stars if I could, but I've yet to try the pies. It's ashame you can't tip staff on card though, they deserve it.
Go into to buy a soft drink in the middle of day with my 60+ year old parent, get asked for ID (I’m 28 years old, I haven’t been asked for ID in years!) and was humiliated quite unfairly in front of a lot of people. Guy wouldn’t even consider a pic of my passport - and let’s remember I wasn’t even trying to buy alcohol! I’ll add that the bartender said he had to do this legally, however, he is incorrect. Challenge 25 only applies to ordering of alcohol - which neither me nor the other person at my table did. So if your staff are going to quote the law and publicly humiliate someone, please make sure they’re accurate in what they are saying. Add to that that the pub generally wasn’t a nice vibe. Very quiet and had a weird smell.
What a fantastic little pub! Service 10/10. Atmosphere was brilliant. Definitely a hidden gem. Best of all the prices were very reasonable. £7.10 for a pint of lager and a Pink gin with lemonade.
Very warm staff, let us have multiple samples and was a good taste of a traditional Scottish pub!
Really quick service, a roaring fire and great atmosphere. Only downside is that it's cash only, but to be fair, there is a cash machine on site. Sunday night Scottish music on the snug is amazing with John and the guys.

Went back to the Monty as it is called by the regulars. Have visited here before in past vacations. Always an experience, lots of history within the bar and seating areas. We enjoyed the friendly/funny conversations while here. A great place to visit!!!
Excellent friendly staff..I was recently at a wedding here, absolutely fantastic wedding venue..& the meal in my opinion was cooked to a very high standard, chicken stuffed with haggis, I didn't take any food pics.. because I was far to busy enjoying the meal.. we had 130 guests.. everyone was raving about the wedding venue. Highly recommend...
