I attended Topcuts barbers with my young son on 28th November for a routine haircut. During the haircut, the barber used excessive and inappropriate force, repeatedly pulling and jerking my childβs head in a manner that caused him distress. When I challenged this, stating that his handling was unacceptable and informing him that my son is autistic, the barber responded aggressively and blamed me for not telling him sooner. Due to his escalating hostility, I felt uncomfortable handing him the payment directly and therefore placed the money on the till. I did not throw it, nor did I act in an aggressive manner. Upon leaving the premises, the man who cut my sons hair then launched a Β£1 coin at me with force when I was outside the shop from his till, striking my shoulder and subsequently hit my child. He threw that in anger towards me. I feel this is a criminal matter and have been told to report it to the police. I am also treating this as a safeguarding concern, given the vulnerable status of my child. The employe claimed that he acted as a result of me βthrowingβ the payment is entirely false and acted out of his own anger issues This incident has caused significant distress to both myself and my son.

Absolute BS. Went there after a friend of mine suggested it. I went to get the usual, a skinfade with a "tidy up" on the top. I use this every barber shop I go to and they never had a problem with it until this one. The guy there was cursing me in his language and was being rough on my head to the point where he made a mistake and made the fade to high. Would not recommend.

Bad experience for the most part. Only reason I'm giving this a 2 star is because of the lovely woman who's better at cutting hair than any of the men in there. Been cut twice at the back of my neck from them, no clean up and didn't even get told. Arguments mid haircut and conversations mid haircut as if they didn't have a job to do. Would avoid at all costs

Any time Iβm in there I always get the same cut regardless whoever it is and up until yesterday I had no problem with it. Usual βlow taper fade and a small tidy on topβ my hair was relatively long on top and I liked that, been intentionally growing it out since September last year. Yesterday my hair has been ruined, after asking what I wanted whoever he was proceeds to give me A strange unblended fade then cuts far too much off the top but only took it off the front?? My hair looks like itβs taking on a strange looking slope shape. Now Iβm going to a different barber shop to give me a buzz with a proper fade. Definitely will not be back! Used to be so good aswell. New owners??

Very dirty and unhygienic place! I got my nails done and not only were the tools dirty, but I could see bits of other people's nails and dust scattered all over the table. Yuck!

Tool my 3 year old for a hair trim. Literally 6 or 7 minutes with the scissors and a light trim. Kid gets a little upset, but generally nothing too out of the ordinary. Charged me Β£12 after telling me it was because it was a cut with the scissors only and took longer. Kids cut is Β£8 on the price list. I've been in twice before, most recently 7 weeks ago for the same cut on the same child and it's cost Β£8 on both occasions. Obviously couldn't be bothered cutting the youngsters hair and took a bit extra for the inconvenience. Won't use them again.

Probably the worst haircut I've ever had in my life. I used to come here every now and then and the place was not bad, mind you not the greatest either but definitely not bad, but now they are one of the worst hairdressers I've ever seen. The employees are always distracted easily and not focused on actually cutting your hair meaning they dont pay attention to your hair leaving it lop sided or unfinished, now I understand they may need to speed up your haircut a bit to get through more customers but they can atleast spend a little time actually making sure your hair looks good, so my advice? Enter at your own risk as you're probably gonna get a half done rough looking 'haircut', your almost definitely better of cutting your own hair.

Quite possibly the worst skin fade I've ever had, in fact it's not really a fade at all! My hair literally sticks out an inch at the side and then immediately goes bald. I even asked for the sides to be trimmed down more but they still stick out a lot, I decided not to ask for a second time as the barber seemed extremely displeased the first time. Poor excuse for a haircut especially at Β£13, I literally cut it better myself during quarantine.

My daughter spent her birthday money at the nail bar inside Top Cuts and can I just say when a man can do nails just as good as his female counterparts this is brilliant. Thank you with such precision, professionalism great customer service we will be back.
