   Sat in here only for about half an hour, but the staff are lovely and drinks are at an affordable price. Nice atmosphere with some old rock classics playing.

   Turned up at 5;30 for a birthday meal with my mother who is disabled after a stroke, got ushered out the door with absolute disrespect not even allowing my mother to have a breath before leaving. absolute discrace of a once great pub.

   Yes we both very welcome service was up to it's usual standard. My wife had stake pie and I had cheese pasta. I normally have the stake pie but thought I'd change and it was braw. Next time I might just go through the next one in the menu. Thanks for your help and service. Yes this time I had the curry and it was gr8 as well

   Yesterday I ordered steak pie, I arrived cold and the pie paste was totally covered in gravy it looked like a dogs breakfast two tables that came in after us was served long before us. When I brought the problem to the attention of a member of staff they decided the solution would be to give us another piece off puff pastry this was a poor solution also my friends plate had no vegetables. What a bad experience. Yet lest week we had a great meal presented well.
