   I ordered from the Xmas menu, the beef was very tough and tasteless, roast potatoes tasted awful, sprouts were brick hard and other veg vastly overcooked! The desert was better although it wasn't what I originally ordered, but was ok, I guess I just picked from wrong menu as the other folk at our table all enjoyed their meals. I certainly won't return, feeling sorry for folk booked for Xmas day! The service was good and the girl serving was very pleasant.

   This review is purley based on food, went in here for some lunch a few weeks ago and im sorry but it wasnt a great meal ordred mince and tatties for starter and mash was lumpy and dry, main course was katsu curry which tasted like a plate of sugar, finally the party of us ordred a few deserts to share and each one prgressivley got worst than the last. Certainley wont be back in for food here specially when bars like glenhead taverm practically next door offres a far superior meal

   Honestly didn't think by looking at the pub on the outside it was going to be that great. How wrong could I be. From the moment I walked in I could feel the good vibes. As a contractor, in my 40 years service, I knew this was a good place. Number 1, staff, really friendly, number 2 beer really good, number 3, beer reasonable price and number 4 the food in this place is top notch for a contractor, and everyone else for that matter, and, keep it quiet, inexpensive. On op of this,Sky sports, spotless toilets. Bloody hell, I've only been here 2 nights but what's not to like ? 5 stars from me

   11 of us booked on Saturday. Food was excellent and very good value for money. Great selection of food and drink. Plenty of parking at the back. Definitely recommend.
