   We had a great time kayaking-- and Jamie is an outstanding guide! He knew the area of Chester, including a bit of myth/legend (or is it?) and trained us quickly to safely navigate the river. The kayaks were solid and bouyant, no overturns happened, even with 12-year-old first-timers. River itself is gorgeous, with views of lovely homes and plenty of low-hanging trees to dip into if you're feeling adventurous. We went at a steady pace and definitely got fun value. Highly recommended for a unique experience. Great especially if you've never been this close to the water in charge of your own progress!

   We arranged this online with ease. Joe met us by the river with all equipment needed ready and waiting. He asked what we wanted to get out of the session and after a short safety briefing we were off on the Dee. I was quite slow but Joe chatted to me as I slowly made my way along the river. My wife had gone a distance ahead and I asked for a break so he went up to her and accompanied her back to base. It was a safe and fun 1.5 hours which we would happily recommend. We were also provided with lots of information should we wish to continue with this activity.

   We had a brilliant time on the river dee canoeing with instructor Jamie! It was a gift for my dad who is 75 with my son 13 partner and myself. It was fun and well worth the money. We loved it thanks again Jamie.

   This is the 2nd time I've used Dee River Kayaking for a work planned social and we had Jamie lead us along the river again. He is very knowledgeable and always there to help and support those who may need a bit of extra advice on how to stand up on the board, paddle, steer, etc. We had a lovely evening paddle along the River Dee and we're keen to book in for another session soon - maybe kayaking this time!

   Had a fantastic afternoon white water kayaking on the River Dee on Sunday under the expert tutelage of Charlotte. Having only 1 previous experience at paddling I was nervous. However she soon put me at ease and we were off. We paddled to the weir where she took me through the safety precautions and best approach to tackling the challenge. Following her instructions went down twice then climbed back up again to return to our starting point. I must admit I didn't think I would survive for 3 hours, but we did and I still has energy at the end. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Highly recommended! Natasha Blissett

   Charlotte was a really chilled and friendly guide and she showed us a bit about the basics of kayaking whilst also just letting us get on with our own thing and relax. Clearly very experienced instructor, all kit provided and excellent value for money for a 2 hour session! Had a great day!

   We had a great time learning how to paddle on white water rapids in Chester. This was a great introduction to the sport and the instruction received was great throughout and our techniques improved through the afternoon. The kayaks themselves were good quality and very stable.
