   Had to replace car battery tried RAC home mechanics still waiting on a quote, decided to check out Halford been there a few years ago thought it would be expensive. Was surprised was in and out in 20 minutes and the price very reasonable.

   I am an elderly female, not knowledgeable about cars and so was nervous when I had to replace the battery. Halfords staff were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Prices were fine and there was a 4 year guarantee.

   So where do i start. I purchased a Carrera Impel 3.1. ( Halfords Hamilton know who this is LOL) 1st off the bike was a new model still working out the issues etc which is normal with any new bike that's released. 1st thing need new tyres as the factory shipped ones were just terrible for Scottish weather. Only took 1 hour to replace the tyres for me which was amazing. 2nd visit was due to the brakes on the bike leaking oil. Handed the bike over to Ryan he had them done within a couple of hours again amazing. 3rd visit was due to a faulty battery. Unfortunately due to staff holidays it was in for over 2 weeks but after the staff holidays it was fixed within 1 day of the new battery arriving. Due a 4th visit soon due to a new issue but i am more than sure that the staff at Halfords Hamilton can handle anything that comes at them Highly recommend this store and the guys Ryan and Dougie need a wage rise definitely for their skilled work and customer service

   Good experience, picked up my cycle to work scheme bike today and Jeff spoke me through everything I needed to know about starting off. Not the first time I've used this store, had my last bike in where Jeff john (i think his name is) and Martyn dealt with it promptly Update, been in again for a bike service and wasn't disappointed in the service I received. Well done everyone

   A rather chaotic click and collect experience. Got an email stating that my order had been cancelled but which included a link to a tracker which said it was ready to collect. Tried the online chat to find out what was happening but it wasn't much help. The store phoned me on my landline a day later ( not sure how they got that number - I had provided my mobile ) to say the item wasn't in stock but which was why I got the cancelled email but would be available later in the week. I finally got my click and collect order but it wasn't as smooth as my experience with other retailers. It would have been much simpler if the store had simply contacted me in the first instance on the mobile number I provided to explain there was going to be a delay instead of sending a cancellation email..

   Great service today from Halfords in Hamilton. Had ordered wrong car battery but fitter corrected and fitted it for me without any hassle. Hats off to these guys. They rock. Highly recommended.

   Very disappointed I ordered a frost guard front windscreen protector and 5litre bottle of winter screen wash Those items were in stock and should have been put aside for me as I had paid for them. But I get to the Hamilton store for collection and both items were out of stock. I was given the "ready to use" screen wash when I had ordered the concentrated Berry-10 wash. The concentrated version is more expensive I was told I would be refunded, which is fine but I was only refunded for the screen protector. I was still charged for the dearer screen wash even though I was given the cheaper one as an alternative. I'm not impressed, very disappointed

   Popped in as I needed a new headlight bulb and wiper blades. I was in and out in ten minutes, including the fitting! Reasonably priced, efficient and friendly service. Would recommend!
