popped into Halfords today after my battery clamp snapped and left my car undriveable. Lois was absolutely amazing from start to finish — even went out into the rain to help me check the right screw and make sure I had exactly what I needed. She was so helpful, patient and genuinely went above and beyond to get me safely back on the road. Such a lovely, hardworking lady. Thank you so much, Lois — you honestly saved my day!

Purchased a Carrera blast for my granddaughter, great wee bike built buy Lois, great service from start to finish, the girl that served me was fantastic but she was on her own and there was a few people waiting and not being seen to, definitely need another couple of body’s up in the bicycle department.

I had problems with my battery over the past week, on arriving at Halfords Braehead I was met by Karen her colleague, whose name I have forgotten. Both helped identify the new battery I required Karen’s Colleague came out in pouring rain to evaluate my battery and unfortunately my car failed to start. I was then passed to Chris, who again in spite of the dreadful weather came out and fitted a brand new battery, as I stood over him with a golf umbrella. He then topped up my oil also. The help, advise and overall customer care shown by all at Braehead Halfords went above the norm for customer service which I see in many places these days. I left feeling delighted by such an approach. Halfords should consider themselves very fortunate to have such great people working for them. The fact that Chris has worked there since he was 16 tells me something about the company. Karen was both engaging and ultimates helpful; representing Halfords superbly. Her other colleague( sorry about my memory again) was soaked through in trying to diagnose my car issues without a single complaint. To reiterate, each and everyone I engaged with yesterday reflect very well on the Halfords business model.

Lois was extremely helpful and had a pleasant manner. She changed all window wipers very efficiently. Staff like Lois are a company’s most valuable resource. I would happily highly recommend this branch for the customer service I received today.

Rude, lazy, blonde haired women (50 odd) working the cash register tonight (20/12/2022) couldn't have been more unhelpful. My girlfriend asked where to find fuses and she said in a patronising tone that they were on the back wall "where it says fuses". I couldn't see any in the amperage I was looking for and asked if there was a small chance there were any in the back and she, again in a patronising tone, replied "no, anything out there is already out there." When I asked, how can you be so sure, could you not even check, she laughed and said that's how it's done acting as though we were stupid. She really had no customer service skills whatsoever, and I noticed another customer was upset by how she spoke to him. She clearly just couldn't be arsed with anyone. From experience, most places will at the very least try to help you find something in an alternative store. But no, this woman was clearly too lazy to even bother.

Enjoyed being there, lots of interesting products were in stock, I found it very useful! If you’re heading down to this branch have a look around the shelves, it’s interesting! Staff were very friendly and helpful. If you compare the prices you’ll find it fairly alright but I wouldn’t purchase everything from Halfords as you get better deals from other stores for some certain products.

Karen at reception was very helpful and offered help from the moment I arrived on Sunday 30th October. Very knowledgeable on the products I was after. As a retired HR Director, it was great to see someone so helpful and more importantly knowledgeable on the array of products in the Braehead store. Great to see fantastic customer care - very welcoming start to my visit and excellent communication skills on show ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all round. Grant Glasgow

The handle bars on my new bike had not been properly tightened almost causing me to fall off at the first time of getting on the bike. Staff are friendly and polite however some form of check could not have been completed during build, surely this should have been standard.
