   There is nowhere else I would take my cars now. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The owner Andrew will always take the time to chat and give a thorough run through of the work and any issues. Recently fitted a set of Ohlins on my S2000 (as well as a few other bits and pieces) kept me right with a couple of extra suspension changes and set the car up amazingly well. Always the first garage I recommend when people ask.

   I’ve taken several of my cars to Automek, and most recently my S5 for some engine work. I’d been hesitant to trust other so-called “specialists,” as none of them inspired much confidence. After speaking with Andrew, I knew straight away my car was in the right hands. The team’s knowledge of both performance and maintenance is outstanding, and the whole process—from start to finish—was handled with professionalism, clear explanations, thorough documentation, and excellent communication. On top of that, their pricing is extremely fair. If you want the job done properly, this is the place to go. Without a doubt, one of the best garages in Scotland.

   My Tesla Model S has just had 4 wheel alignment done at Automek and I am ecstatic about the results and the high standard of professionalism shown by the staff. Andrew explained everything on the phone when I called to book. On arrival I was seen immediately and Andrew went through the procedure and when I returned after a few hours the car was ready. The car's alignment was miles out and they managed to bring it back to correct settings and tweak it to their preferred setup. Andrew was vastly knowledgeable about the setting up of the geometry of the car and incredibly patient explaining everything. The car drives beautifully now, I am very happy with the service and the cost was very reasonable and as per the quote when booking. I can highly recommend Automek as an excellent garage to have your car looked after by people who know what they are doing and provide great service.

   Had my GT86 in recently to discuss changing the oil pick up, as these are known to be a weak point. Spoke to Andrew, who knew all about the job, made some good suggestions and recommendations as to fitting a sump baffle. Only a few hours after i had dropped the keys in with them, i'd had a call to say the car was done. Andrew and Kian were good enough to bring me through to the car, walk me round it and let me have a look underneath. They made a point of letting me have a look at the old oil pickup to look for silicone ( big issue on these after a valve spring recall!) Would have to say, in 20 years of driving and modifying cars on my own, i've never come across another garage that fills you with as much faith and optimism. Very high knowledge levels and great service, as well as customer service. 100% recommend, and will use again soon enough!

   Thanks to the guys at Automek, Andrew is incredibly knowledgeable and looked after my car. He does his background research on the car and explained everything in a clear manner while working on it, also received detailed updates on the progress of it. On top of doing the gearbox service that the car was in for, Andrew and team gave the car a look over to ensure there were no other issues, and fed back that the car is immaculate. I'll be bringing it in later next month for alignment for extra piece of mind. Will be using Automek for all future work on my car as the level of knowledge, care and understanding is fantastic.
