I was booked in today with Jess & Jacqui. They were outstanding for the off ! They were very organised, polite & pleasent. I was given a reminder call with my app time and scheduled in very quickly. Will return.
Booked a Winter Preparation Service, they had the car for 6 hours. The coolant was slightly over the maximum line when handed in and at the same level when collected, coolant was supposed to be drained and refilled but wasn't touched. Was told they didn't have the windscreen treatment and would have to be rebooked. Never heard back. All recommended work was over priced, tyres (2x online tyre prices) and brake pads (over £100 more than independent garage). Total waste of time and money.
Website and helpline says they open at 8am-6pm but they just open and shut when they feel like it. No apology or acknowledgement to the queue of people waiting for over half an hour, subsequently making me and my partner late for work, etc. After all this they told me, “we don’t deal with clutches,” well that’s fine but why have you taken my booking as that’s what it’s booked in for? Again, no apology. Told me they’d still look at it but it’s not moved from down the street so they didn’t bother. Come to collect the car at 5.30pm but of course they had decided to shut early. No mention on the phone earlier to let us know this. People have work commitments and childcare, you can’t just shut early with someone’s car in your possession and not let them know? Horrible attitudes, terrible customer service, and a complete waste of time.
Be very careful with this branch. I was quoted £281 for work but when collecting my car was told £368 until I challenged it. After having my car for two days, they even tried to hand it back with nothing at all done to it. Communication was poor throughout — I was left without my car for three days and given misleading updates. One staff member (Connor) did try to help, but overall the experience was stressful and I won’t be returning.
Booked car for wheel balance. They took the money and I went in. Then they said they didn’t feel comfortable doing it. They passed me to another branch but several hours later. Wasted time and effort which could have been avoided by either not taking the booking or calling me. Shoddy
Cannot recommend this garage highly enough. Probably the best service I've had from a garage. All you ask when having your car repaired is that you're getting an honest assessment and price. This garage gave me all that and would therefore totally recommend this garage. Staff knowledgeable, friendly and polite.
Booked in for wheel alignment arrived at time of booking m, two guys in office one with feet up on the desk picturing he was on holiday took them a minute to take notice if a customer to enlighten me they were just going to phone as there gauges broke yesterday, so why not phone yesterday first and last experience with the auto center, halfords sort yourselves out
Been using these guys for a while now and they never disappoint. Yesterday I needed them to sort my windscreen washers which had stopped working. Turns out it was a duff fuse, which Robert sorted in about 5 minutes flat without charging me a penny. It's service like that which guarantees repeat business; they'll certainly get mine!
Got a free 10-point winter check carried out today. The mechanic also defrosted my windscreen wash for me. Excellent customer service,thank you. I'll definitely be back again.
Can't rate this garage enough. Booked in for MOT, failed due to suspension arm. Called me in for demonstrating and also put it up on the ramp for a walk through of the fault. Tremendous service and great prices. The garage to go to in Johnstone
