    This is the best manicure I ever had. I live in the USA and was on vacation in Edinburgh. I managed to get a cancellation. 3 1/2 weeks later and the manicure is still great. Great service and friendly staff

    Really rude! Basically told me I needed to leave because they don’t accept new clients. Said they were closed (even through they were not) and that they were “too busy” with regular clients to let me book at all even though the two girls were standing around doing nothing with no customers in sight. So unprofessional

    Very disappointed. Got shellac done on Thursday for a wedding on Friday and it had chipped within 24 hours of having it done. It was a mess for wedding. When I called them I was told there was nothing they could do as there was no guarantee with shellac. I understand there is no guarantee but for £35, it should last longer than 24 hours so I find it quite shocking. Will definitely not be returning.

    I went to Elite Nails for a few years and they are the best nail saloon i have ever been too. I don't agree with some of these comments - I felt so at home and a lovely friendly service and customers interacting with each other. Very reasonably priced and my nails were in perfect condition and lasted for weeks. I moved to Castle Douglas and have just had my nails done here and they are TERRIBLE - I could have done a better job. I had extensions which are wonky - all misshaped and cuticles hardly pushed back - bubbles in the gel. SHOCKING. Girls I love it here and so happy but I SOOOO miss having my nails done with you - need to book a trip to Edinburgh in the near future. Mandy xx
