Ordered a new tyre through the site, so arrive and be told there was a system failure and it's the wrong tyre that was ordered. Was told it would be in for the next day but it would be another £30 ontop of what I'd already paid. booked in for 12.30 the following day. I was working so my partner took the car down for the allotted time to be told the tyre wasn't there yet. When my partner questioned why we weren't informed of this to avoid an unnecessary trip while my partner was meant to be working also, we were told it was yet another system failure. And although we were booked in, they couldn't bring up my contact details without the reg plate? My partner was obviously unhappy about this, the guy got very defensive and rude with him about it. So they took my partners number and said they would call when the tyre came in later that day, they didn't. I had to call. To be told it was there. He went back down, got the tyre replaced and after talking to the guy again, who had clearly calmed down and realised that we've been messed about he apologised and gave a small discount off the cost. All in all I won't be back, you expect much better service from a place with Halfords backing.
My review has been removed but I would like to ensure that people- specifically women- are aware! Was threatened with physical removal and was shouted and pointed at because I had asked for alignment documents. My partner had actually asked for them. When I attended the brach after this was organised I was accused of calling them liars for not doing the alignment... and was threatened when I said that it was quite the leap and that I was just looking to collect the alignment documents for my partner. I phoned my partner and said they had told me to leave or they would remove me so he attended they offered a refund.... I can only speak for my recent experience, but please beware when booking alignment.
The Mechanic took my Kuga 2014 for a test run. I asked him to check my front tyres for road noise. They had supplied and fitted them a short time ago. I was shocked when he told me the noise was due to my front wheel bearings.
Needed a specific tyre for my car (Avon zv7). Website I used said cheapest option was national tyres (nearly half as cheap some other options) Booked online for 1pm, got there early but the guys said that was fine, 25mins later, job done and I’m on my way with a new tyre. Easy and hassle free. I’ll be back again when my rear tyres need done
Ordered tyres online on Sunday night booked the appointment for Tuesday morning. Turned up no tyres. There system doesn't know what is in the garage. Good quick service when they did arrive.
Had my car booked in to get two new front tyres. I arrived late due to having to pick my daughter up. The tyre fitter said this was no problem at all and promptly fitted the two new tyres in about 20 minutes. Excellent service. Have been here on quite a few occasions and it is much better than the branch in Langside, they are always far too busy and keep you waiting for ages.
