   I cannot comment on the venue itself, but I feel it’s important to be transparent about the way I was spoken to outside. I asked why a spectator adult was required to purchase a ticket, as this is not stated anywhere within the disclaimer during the booking process. There is no indication that an accompanying adult must buy a spectator ticket. Unless you click to read more- however I was attending a child party so why would I click to read more? All very sketchy and under hand- not transparent at all. This means that, in addition to paying simply to supervise my under-16 child, I am also expected to purchase food and drink on-site, as no outside items are permitted. This was for a party booking, which undoubtedly cost several hundred pounds. I fully understand charging for those who skate or actively participate, but charging an adult solely to sit, supervise a child, take them to the toilet, or get them water is unreasonable. For context, I do not charge adults attending my own events unless they are taking part, and without clear guidance on the website, I reasonably assumed I would not be expected to pay to supervise my own child. The response I received — “well, that’s where you went wrong, you assumed” — was unprofessional and unnecessary. Rude staff members Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this venue. I know an excellent skate instructor and have access to a spacious venue with ample free parking, and I would happily add rollerskating parties to my own list of events instead. I had even planned to bring my senior dancers to Roller Nation for an end-of-year outing, but I will now be hiring my own space and organising it myself.

   What a fantastic time we had at Roller Nation. Despite being a complete amateur (my bottom is still hurting!), thoroughly enjoyed the banging music and the great atmosphere. The instructors were really helpful and patient. Overall, a top tier time!

   I had such an amazing time at Roller Nation! I went ice skating and it was an absolute blast. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the whole place had such great energy. The rink was well maintained and made skating really fun, whether you’re a beginner or more experienced. I loved the music and the overall vibe. It made the experience feel lively and unforgettable. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a fun day out. Can’t wait to go back!

   Really unique idea and a great place. The staff there is absolutely wonderful. The bartenders are really nice to you but I both of them have a hard time understanding you for some reason. I'd reckon they are not English The skates provided are clean and hygienic. They keep a good rotation of DJ and Songs. Went there a few times and I have broken my ankle now. Looking forward to when I can go back there with a cured leg

   I paid about 15 pounds per person and had fun overall as a first timer. Some things to note, you get your bags searched and a slight pat down to enter the venue. Bag and coat check is £1.5 per item. Skate rental is included in the price and they exchange your shoes for the skates so you'll have to either walk barefoot or roll around in your skates (which includes going to the bathrooms). On the rink itself, there are a mix of newbies and confident skaters, you aren't allowed to stop in the rink (even at the side) to catch a breath as a staff will skates quite quickly over to scold you. Probably for the better as it can get extremely crowded on a friday. I would recommend going as early as 7 as it was made extra difficult with people skating backwards, being bumped into and pushed around. I didnt order a drink but for food you will have to order from an app and payment methods can be a bit clunky, and food can take a while to get ready. You get really basic food - think frozen chips, nuggets, etc. I dont recommend the squid rings. - food is about £5-10 so won't be amazing quality. Music is more RNB style It gets really hot and stuffy as the night goes on so dress lightly!

   I’ve been twice (so far) for the Sunday all ages afternoon skate and it’s been so much fun. Friendly helpful staff. Great mix of music. Friendly fun group of people skating each time I went. Highly recommend.

   A great place to allow your children to learn how to skate. A bit busy with parents having birthday parties for their children (a great idea) the kitchen cannot deal with the flood of orders which come their way. Other than that a good spot for children learning to skate, as an adult I would not go there it’s too small to get my spread eagle going on, you would be speeding into other skaters very fast, a hazard I guess. But for children it is perfect, I think that I will be taking my grandchildren there more often.

   Fun experience, worth taking the overground ro Bruce grove that is the nearest station as walking around that area is nor super interesting. The place is very affordable for drinks ans basic food, the music is good and vibe is great! Will go on a saturday to try the disco night but loved their groovy friday!
