A1 tyres are very honest,friendly and helpful. I thought I needed 2 new tyres but when the staff member checked I was advised that only one needed replaced. No pressure,a first class service...and inexpensive. Wouldn't go anywhere else.Thankyou.
Was told that they don't fix motorcycle tyres as it is illegal when in fact in fact it is perfectly fine granted it is a minor puncture in the right place, in my case a screw just off centre in the middle of the thread. This is a terrible inconvenient since I've relied on them to repair my motorbike tyres there on 3 separate occasions in the past... wasn't illegal then and got back on the road within day so not sure what has changed. This one review doesn't change the fact that when i did get served it was excellent.
Have used A1 for a while now for puncture repairs and quick tyre changes. The guys are always helpful and professional. Best place for tyres in EK!
I visited A1 Tyres around 1pm with a simple request for a puncture repair. The staff member told me they were busy and would need to keep my car until 4pm. I explained that was fine, but asked if I could quickly drop a friend off and return in 20 minutes, leaving the car until 4pm as requested. His response was that if I brought it back in 20 minutes, he “wouldn’t have time to do it.” This left me confused, as the car wasn’t going to be worked on in those 20 minutes anyway. When I politely repeated his words to clarify, he abruptly raised his hands, said “Do you know what hen, I’m fully booked – just go elsewhere,” and walked away from me. I even tried to apologise in case I had come across the wrong way, but his dismissive and unprofessional attitude made it clear that customer service is not a priority here. After years of using A1 Tyres, I will not be returning. I immediately took my car to another garage – one that was equally busy, yet still managed to help me quickly and offer advice with respect. I completely understand if a garage is fully booked, but there is never an excuse for rudeness or treating loyal customers so poorly.
Used them a few times now. Always able to fit us in at very short notice, we phoned Thursday and were booked in for Friday for 2 front tyres. They were fitted within half an hour. Very friendly professional staff
I will rate this business in negative figures due to rude conduct by staff and reported this local business to police for their appalling behaviour. I phoned and the lady asked me to come anytime in the afternoon but once I arrived I explained this is what the lady said but that man at the desk was rude. And I guess this wouldn’t be the case of it was not a coloured person. He started shouting at me to leave the shop and abused me using f words. When I refused to leave the man ordered his co workers to pull the shutter down and threatened to lock me in when I said I will report this to the police. He also tried to grab me and push me but I am no sure why he did not do it (probably because the CCTV was on). I was scared and so stepped out of the shop. I am a doctor by profession. And previously when I was at the shop tried to explain that any problem should be bought to notice however trivial the matter is. Guess they did not appreciate my word of advice and tried to take it on me this time.
Used this company for a few years now always find them helpful,friendly, and competitively priced.
4 tyres continually letting air out via the beading. And new tyre needed on spare wheel. Appointment the next day .Taken on time . Fast repair and service with a smile. Great price and great service.
I was booked in for 2xTyres. I can hardly believe how much the Prices have shot up 35% at least Having said that A1 were the cheapest, they got the car in right away were nice and polite and explained everything in detail. The whole job was great and had taken around 20 mins. I would have no hesitation in returning or recommending.
