I needed some off-cuts to make a couple of temporary rugs from. Owner was very obliging and the lads out back dug some out for us, offered to help roll them, no charge. We will need some carpeting done in a couple of rooms in the future and would definitely consider this place given the service.
Simply outstanding service from start to finish. Kristoffersen out LVT flooring throughout all of our downstairs and carpet with stair runner upstairs in 4 days. Steven Fenwick responded to my first email extremely quickly and has always continued to respond within a very short time frame. No question was left unanswered and he patiently walked us through every step. He also ensured that we found the flooring that we dreamed of but stayed within our budget. Darren put our LVT down and he did an incredible job. He was so friendly and always double checked with us to ensure everything was done how we liked, a true master of his craft and he put the LVT down at incredible speed. The Carpet fitting was wonderful and likewise put down the carpet down at an incredible speed. They were done within a few hours ! Overall I couldn’t recommend this team more! Would always return for any flooring needs.
I would like to say that the service I received from the staff at Kristoffersen Carpets & Flooring at their Newtongrange branch was excellent. The office staff were quick and efficient when I enquired about an estimate for LVT flooring. They explained the process of laying the tiles and promised the best fitting service. A full survey was carried out and the price was very competitive. When the fitters arrived, they quickly assessed what they had to do and got on with the job in a professional and respectful manner. On completion they discussed the floor care process and ensured that I was happy with the job. I had a small accident with the floor during decoration and the fitters came back very quickly to remedy the situation. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company for all your flooring needs. Thank you!
Good experience all round from home quote to instore staff & finally the flooring fitters who were very friendly, highly professional & more than happy to work around us & help with furniture moving (including the piano!). Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!
I really can't speak highly enough of the service we got from Kristoffersen. I spent ages trying to source flooring online and arrange fitting separately before getting the whole pacakge from Kristoffersen at a more competitive cost without any of the hassle, Very much wish that had been my first approach. The real clincher of the 5 star review came when we ultimately made a poor choice on the floor we wanted. When it arrived in our house it just wasn't right and the team at Kristoffersen couldn't have done more to help us out and make sure we ended up with the right thing. They were simply amazing!

Had a kitchen, hallway and toilet fitted with high quality laminate from Kristoffersen, Newtongrange and have to say the experience is the best I've ever had in the 35 years of having carpets or flooring done in houses. From start to finish the manager, Daniel Stuart, gave us excellent advice on selection and a price that was highly competitive. Daniel's organisation of everything was totally drama free with times and promises kept to. The fitters did a fantastic job and were were really happy with the workmanship. We had an issue with the toilet leaking after the fit(not the fault of the fitter)and Daniel arranged a small repair with immediate service from a local plumber. Can't thank Daniel and the fitters enough and would highly recommend them to anyone, including the fussiest of wives and partners ;) thanks again Daniel !!
Great price with a professional service. Daniel was great help finding the right carpet for us, fitting service was done at a high standard by two friendly fitters. Love the carpets, would definitely recommend.
