   I went to gateside garage after they were recommended by a friend. I thought I had a hole in my reservoir tank and was expecting the worse financially. Turns out it was two tubes at the back which were the problem which turned out to be a fraction of the price i was expecting. The guys had it a day and had it ready to go for close of business on a Friday even keeping the garage open to allow me to come and collect it. Honestly couldnt have asked for a better service. Highly recommend

   When my car failed it's MOT days before I needed to drive to a job interview, my usual garage couldn't get the work done. They passed my car to the Gateside who not only got my car fixed in time, but Chris also spotted a potentially dangerous issue hidden by the frame. He called me down to the garage and showed me the issue so I could see for myself. I didn't get the job, but my car also didn't cause a motorway pile up so I'm pretty happy with that. Would recommend.

   Chris is the most honest car mechanic I have ever come across in the UK. Pure gold. Garage is also very close to Rutherglen station which comes in handy if you have to leave the car there for a day. If you're in Glasgow or surroundings don't hesitate going to this garage. It's better than most posh shops out there.

   Phoned up Gateside when my car unexpectedly brokedown. Managed to get my car home and Chris came down to my house (I live just round the corner), to check the car and took it back to the garage himself. Great communication throughout and the car was fixed a day later. Didn't make me feel like an idiot for not understanding anything about cars haha! Great family run garage.

   Usual garage was closed so came here when my clutch and gears weren't woring properly. Saw me in immediately, identified the problem, gave a quote for the part and labour and got it fixed the same day. Great garage, honest people and reasonable prices. Even stayed open slightly later for collecting the car at the end of the day when I phoned to say I might be a few minutes late. Highly recommend these guys!

   Quick and professional service. Was there to have my car fitted with winter tyres. Its a bit difficult to find the place as its behind another garage and google map takes you to the garage on the main street. Nevertheless, highly recommended.
