   Went in last minute for a tyre change after a fight with a curb. The guys were understaffed and extremely busy, but remained professional and calm and helped me out super fast to get me back on the road. The lovely manager on shift that day made me aware that the tyre may have been repairable over being replaced- so it's nice to know this place isn't a garage trying to make money out of every minor issue and appear to be very honest and fair, especially having chatting with a couple other customers about the MOTs while I waited. Would recommend these guys and I will be going here again.

   0 star review !!!!! Dropped my car in for a service and MOT at 830AM. At Pollokshaws road Halfords. The car wasn’t moved until after 12noon. I have an app on my phone shows me what’s happening with car and if it’s parked or switched on etc 230pm arrived with still not one bit of communication from the garage even though I asked them to give me a call with an update when I dropped car in. Went on to check online to see if my MOT had been done to surprisingly see it had failed. Again nothing from the garage to phone me and let me know this or let me know what was wrong so we could at least speak over things! What they have failed my car on passed 3 times already from Halfords but a different location. And any other time my car has went in for a mot the staff call me and let me know what is happening and spoke over things as requested. Staff were rude and very stand off ish . Not friendly and not helpful AT ALL! Shocking customer service and the “MOT” testing operative MR M.S Proctor was very abrupt didn’t listen and just said he was doing his job would not listen to us and told us the other garages hadn’t done mot correctly. He couldn’t get out of the building quick enough. Would recommend not taking your car anywhere near this garage. !!! I am also 8 months pregnant and now got stress that wasn’t required and could have easily been fixed but unfortunately this garage did not have the decency to have some communication and compassion to give me a call and update me on the situation as requested ! Read the trust pilot reviews aswell! Other people agree terrible customer service. Took my car from them and booked it in else were .

   The only place I'd take my car. Had my car towed here last week, as it needed a new gearbox after packing in whilst driving. Grant was fantastic, fitted me in even though there wasn't any room on the system. Total cost was just shy of £800 for a total refit, wheel alignment and two fay turnaround. Best part is they payment plan on offer so I only paid £150 when picking up and the rest is split into interest free equal payments in 6, 7 and 8 months time. 10/10 would recommend.

   I went to Halfords for my MOT and was assisted by an incredibly helpful and friendly staff member named Grant. Halfords Pollokshaws was one of the few places open on Saturday for MOTs, making it an easy choice. This branch is also very close to a rail station, which makes transport convenient. Unfortunately, my car failed the initial MOT due to loose brakes previously fitted at Khan Autos the week before. After having the brakes refitted there, I had to return the car to Halfords for a retest. The staff at Halfords were empathetic about my situation, and Grant kindly offered me a free MOT retest. The team was fantastic! They managed to fit me in for a same-day retest despite a busy schedule. They also advised me to avoid Khan Autos in the future. I will be sticking with well known reputable franchises from now on. 5/5 service. I would definitely return to this Halfords branch for their outstanding professionalism and expertise.

   Untrustworthy or simply incompetent staff. On 2 occasions I have been wrongfully quoted for unnecessary work on my car. I took my car in to be serviced and they told me I needed to spend £700-£1000 on my car to pass an mot. On going to multiple different garages this wasn’t the case. Most recently I took my car in for a simple puncture repair they told me I needed to buy a new tire when it was easily repairable. Staff are short and dismissive, I assume because I am female that I know “nothing” of mechanics and will try to take me for a fool. I will never take my car there again.

   I arrived not long before closing time to get a battery for a break light as I had a long drive the next day. These battery replacements are never simple! Jacqui and the staff were so helpful and went to great lengths to get the car sorted. First class service

   This centre is the worse. They charge you hefty money with not servicing but breaking the car. As soon as I left the service centre after getting my car serviced the engine oil was leaking when reported the centre said they accidentally left the engine cap open. After 2 days I started getting coolant level low warning when got checked they broke the coolant box and told me there was nothjng wrong only to find from another service centre that the box was broken. Now after 6 months and less than 8k miles my transmission oil is empty which has caused major damage tp my gearbox. For a service which I paid £180 i have to pay £350 extra for coolant issue and now the transmission issue god knows how much will be charged. HIGHLY UNRELIABLE AND UNTRUSTWORTHY
