I have been coming to this garage for years for servicing and MOTs. I always judge a garage by personal service, honesty and integrity as much as any repair! I recently took my Kia Sportage as had an engine management light on. The mechanic identified the fault through diagnostic software. The fault was going to cost nearly a grand. Instead of just doing the job and taking my money, the mechanic immediately told me to take it to the Kia Dealership as it may be covered under warranty. I did, and thankfully it was. If that isn't honest and decent, I don't know what is. Saved me nearly a grand! Thanks guys. I really encourage you to take your car there.
Had issues with my car took into select services who immediately identified the issue and carried out repair very quickly all the staff were very helpful and professional would highly recommend this garage if you have any problems with your vehicle.
We were on a motorhome trip through the Highlands when a wheel bearing broke. Made it back to the Glasgow area and tried to find a repair shop with no luck at all. A dog walker recommended Select Services. Best thing that could happen. I gave them a call and they squeezed me into their tight schedule. A quality repair for a very decent price. And it was all done in a matter of hours and we were on our way. Thanks a lot for the great service!!
Was looking for Tam for a while and managed to track him down at select services. I was at the garage round the corner and quoted £190. After speaking to someone they told me Tam was round the corner at select services. Went round to see him. He quoted £145. He got the job done, he was quick and efficient and so friendly. I was given coffee and biscuits While watching tv in a nice warm room while him and the staff got my car back on the road. It feels like a brand new car. Would not hesitate to recommend Tam at Select services. They are outstanding

I and members of my family, have used Select Services in Barrhead for a range of probems, from tyres, exhaust, repair to a wing mirror as well as MOTs. The guys here are great, very welcoming and efficient. Tam is so helpful and goes way beyond expectations to sort your car problems. Its reassuring for me, knowing that I can put my trust in these guys to fix my car.
While working as a District Nurse my car received a bump to the driver's door and the panel in front of it. My neighbour, who has retired from taxi-driving, recommended Select Services in Barrhead as he used to go there and found them very reliable. He took me to the garage and introduced me. The service I received was excellent. Everyone I met was polite and cheerful. The man who repaired my car- Alec- worked hard to have it ready in half the time it would normally take as he knew I needed the car for my work. I would like to thank each and every person involved in the care and repair of my car. I recommend this garage to anyone needing work done on their vehicle- an honest, hardworking and kind team.
