Recently had my sons audi a5 in for replacement front brake pads at a fraction of the cost audi braehead quoted, mvr replaced them quickly and there now my 1st choice garage.
I first had a free air-con check at Halfords, who identified a pressure leak in the system. I was referred to MVR and explained that my Hyundai’s air-con wasn’t producing cold air. The team at MVR ran their own pressure test and confirmed that the system was losing pressure. They carried out exploratory work to try and find the source of the leak, but unfortunately were unable to pinpoint it. Throughout, their communication was excellent — they kept me updated at each stage and explained the situation clearly. However, I was charged just over £80 for this work, even though it essentially confirmed what I already knew and did not result in a fix. The only solution they could offere was to replace the entire A/C unit (costing upwards of £300), though they acknowledged this might not guarantee resolving the issue. Given it’s not urgent in the cooler months, I chose not to proceed and instead collected my car. Unfortunately, when I got the car back, I discovered the sole working window washer was no longer working — an issue that wasn’t there beforehand. When I raised this, I was told the technician who worked on my car was away on holiday, and I was offered a paid repair when i returned for the A/C work. Overall, while I appreciated the team’s communication and professionalism, I left disappointed. I paid over £80 for no real resolution, my car came back with a new fault, and the only repair option suggested was a costly replacement that might not have solved the original problem. Edit: Since posting, the garage owner has kindly reached out to offer to resolve the window washer issue. He explained the effort that went into trying to identify the fault and acknowledged that the situation wasn’t ideal. I appreciate both the time and labour that were invested, as well as the recognition of the issue. The aftercare and customer service here are excellent, and because of this, my overall experience has improved. Look forward to going back and resolving the small fault. I would recommend this garage.
Did a bespoke regas of the front aircon for my Nissan Elgrand. The rear failed and Japcom fitted a blanking plate. It's been tested for a week now, through some very warn weather and touch wood, all good!

I went to have a door lock fixed in my car, the guy dealing with my issue left absolutely no stone unturned to get the issue resolved, and quick. Absolutely world class service, I can honestly say, brilliant value for money, no hassles and very professional service. Will definitely come back, this is now my go - to garage. Can't recommend high enough.
