Great. I've been going here for years, they always do a good job and have the car ready quickly.
My wife booked her C1 in for an MOT at £55. She called at 3pm to see if it was ready and was told that they were just waiting on wiper blades. Then another call at 5pm to say that it wouldn't be ready as they were waiting on an exhaust bracket. This had not been communicated beforehand. She had to ask the cost and was told the cost was £175. So this was an unauthorised repair. I called and the garage at 0800 the next day and they would not disclose the cost of the parts but said the part did come in the previous evening and that the work had been completed so we could just pick up the car. I priced the parts and reckon £30 max. My wife picked up the car and the 'invoice' - which not itemised so not cost of parts either or labour, my wife was told that this was what they supplied every customer. Also, they are not VAT registered so no VAT in cost. Bottom line if you want good communication and transparent pricing then DON'T use this garage. We won't ever again or recommend to anyone.
Absolutely fantastic service. Called asking a silly question about my oil change, was in and out within 15 mins and the guys were super friendly. Could not recommend more!
Have been into this garage twice now (for minor things) and both times the owner has been rude and very dismissive. Went into the garage yesterday to ask about a headlight (I had already purchased one from Euro Car Parts). The owner cut me off and told me he wasn’t doing it and he was closing now (this was at 12.15pm on a weekday!) Extremely rude and I thought I would give him benefit of the doubt as I had the same kind of treatment 2 years ago when I popped in. The owner clearly hasn’t changed. Rude, dismissive and not interested. Reading some reviews on here it appears that SOME people like this garage and owner, maybe because they are local to Kilbarchan. But I would highly recommend you to AVOID this garage. I have alsonread reviews about the owner also selling cars or working on cars from Johnstone too (Thorn Brae). AVOID THIS ARROGANT / RUDE OWNER LIKE THE PLAGUE! Would rather take my business elsewhere even if it means travelling.

After trying various garages, none were willing to even look at my cars A/C as apparently no one likes to touch A/C in cars. Made a phone call, told to drop off that night, which I did, and collected it on way home from work the next day. All sorted and A/C working perfectly now. No nonsene or hassle, told yes he can sort that for me and he did.
Car In for MOT quoted £55, reasonable. Dropped car before 9 and left with them for the day, chased at 3pm told it was getting done now, they then called 5:45pm to tell me it was done and it needed a tyre (would be around £115, but boss had left...). Not ideal as I had had no contact all day and had asked to let me know if anything needing done. Agreed to go in the next day as they were now closed, arrived next day to be told its now £130. when I asked about lack of phone call previous day and increase in quoted price the guy (who I assume was in charge) got very defensive / aggressive and ultimately told me to pay up, leave and not come back!. Customer service at its finest. Would not recommend this garage to anyone. Please improve. P.S. Thanks for not checking my EML like I asked. :-)
Great Local Garage able to service and repair all makes of car. Have the expertise to look after older cars. They are the only Garage I Trust to look after my Cars. Their prices are fair and will always give you a quote for any works. When they have a specific problem examples would be Air Conditioning or vehicle electronics they have specialised contractors the bring in so as to minimise cost to their customers. This Garage is a fair and honest trader with a wealth of knowledge between the mechanics who work there.
