Been using them for a few years now, every time they are friendly, courteous and always get the job done. Booked car for mot and service recently and I advised closer to the date that it needed other things done, they were able to do it the same day for me. Trust them every time!
I specifically and clearly asked them for two things. I needed my car serviced and I said the engine management warning light was on. After collecting my car I hadn’t even gotten to the end of the road and the engine management warning light came back on. Second thing was I needed to collect my car on Saturday. When I booked the car in I double checked I was going to collect on Sat morning and was told that was fine as open till 12.30. When I dropped my car in on Friday morning I confirmed this once again and asked when they opened till. They specifically said 12 - 12.30. I arrived at 1140 and place completely locked! Nobody answers the phone either. I had no car all weekend and was unable to collect my kids or drive them to school on Monday. To which all they could say was we shut at 11.30, must just have missed you and simply walked off. Lady at reception, the one who took my booking, just looked at me and said nothing to do with her.
I took my car here for it's MOT on the recommendation of another local garage. When I phoned, they were friendly and helpful and booked me an appointment efficiently. When I took my car down, I was greeted politely, and when I asked when I could pick the car up, they were accomodating to my schedule as I work Nightshift. I will be returning to this garage if my car needs any work in the future.

Booked in for an MOT, Service and puncture repair. Dropped the motor off at 8am and received a call at 3pm the same day stating the car was ready for collection. No hassle, good communications and polite staff. I will be back.
Had a couple of repairs done here now and really quite happy with the service and price. I will happily use this garage again in the future.
I have used this garage many times in the past for my MOTs and Service and never had a problem until recently when they changed my break pads. Shortly after the work was completed I noticed a squeaking sound coming from my breaks. I took the car back to the garage and was charged £50 for fixing a spring after already paying over £300 for my breaks in the first place. The sound was still there after fixing the spring so I called them back and was asked to bring my car back. They checked again and said that the problem was the shims and that they would have to order them as they had none in stock, which was fine. I then took my car back in the following week for the shims to be replaced only to have to phone the garage at 5pm to find out what was happening with my car and be told that nothing was wrong with the car - no shims replaced - nothing! I was told that they could have stripped the breaks down and oiled them but they would have to charge me for this service! They could have phoned me earlier to give me this option rather than waiting for me to phone them. Overall the service I have received has been shocking and every time I go, I get told something different. I think the real problem is that they have used cheap breaking pads in my car and that’s what is causing the sound. I will not be back to this garage in the future and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else. Avoid if you can!!!
Central Garage gives a friendly, efficient service! They were able to find and fit an unusual, rear windscreen wiper on the same day! I took my car in and it was fitted in under 5 minutes! Well done guys! I would give you more stars if possible.
