This is the worst shop in Dalkeith. The staff are absolutely rude, lazy and ignorant Too busy gathering in the isle laughing and gossiping to let you past or even serve you. I ended up dumping the shopping and leaving after 5 minutes. Zero stars if I could.
I've always loved this place
Was at Farmfoods Dalkeith in January hadn't been in a while i thought "aye I've missed shopping at Farmfoods (I'm useally lidl or Tesco as im never round as far as in the heart of Dalkeith with work commitments and what's nearer the time) with my kindest respects. Anyway i was shocked and very unimpressed by how expensive it was i thought nah"ive shopped here and my family for decades,our beautiful Farmfoods Dalkeith Midlothian!!? Nah ! Thought to myself i truly was sorry and gutted I went in it was misadventure and i hadn't left Farmfoods with much it was a nightmare all of a sudden i felt myself with the prices sky high that I wouldn't have enough money, Aye!!!! End of a era personally, for me a proud mummy of 3 Magical children". there's no way I could afford Farmfoods anymore mind boggling prices. TESCO or LIDL ARE MY FAVOURITE AND MOST VALUE FOR MONEY.
Nice, helpful staff and never too busy to get served glad it's still there as they shut the one in Penicuik bad idea by management.
Went for a big shopping trip in/out in 10 mins choice of products not so good its time to relocate to bigger premises me think ..spent £40 was wanting to spend £100 iceland next time
Its Framfoods, stack em high sell in bulk, mix and match is good, friendly staff in Dalkeith will tell you if your miss the offer, if you only picked up 3 instead of 4 etc. If you time your visit right like after 6pm your in and out I na time, go on a Thursday lunch time no so quick. You basically get the quality you pay for.
Shop was busy, one person serving who was chatting to person in the queue. There was a long queue and aisles are not wide enough to get past customers.Another member of staff filling shelves who was aware of the queue but carried on filling shelves. Don't think I will be shopping there again.....
Good prices, haven't been in for a long time but still surprised at some of the great offers, 2 jugs of milk either blue or green or one of each for £1.50, 2 bags of sugar for £1. I have no idea why I stopped shopping here definitely going back again.
