Full 5 stars to Robert who was on the fish counter at Livingston store today 07/11/2025. Upon request, Robert gutted, beheaded and cleaned 2 rainbow trout which we have just enjoyed for dinner. Personal service such as this is sadly diminishing and should rightly be recognised where it exists. Thank you.
The idea behind a supermarket is to have things to market and people to buy. When most of the shelves are like this it just makes you wonder why you wasted your time and should have went to Sainsbury’s. Last time dealing with the incompetence at this store.
One checkout on this morning. Self service closed. Lady on checkout asked member of staff to put call out. 8 people behind me. Then a member of staff with headphones appeared. She was done right nasty and impertinent to lady on check out. In front of myself. Saying you should have pressed the button. In a Very Loud voice. I have just had it in my Ear from Andrew the Manager. She then stormed off and as I passed the Cigarettes Tobacco she was bad mouthing the Checkout Lady to another member of staff. I for one should not have witnessed this terrible behaviour. Shocking !!!!!!!!!!!! The Lady on checkout was shaken but held her cool. NOT THE IMAGE MORRISONS WANTS !!!!!!
This store is gradually showing more signs of lack of maintenance; probably the result of the takeover by private equity. Thank you private equity for taking another good British business and proceeding to drive it in to the ground.
Much prefer this shop rather than Asda. Much better atmosphere. Better layout and setup. Pasta and salad bar is great.
Very poor people standing in the queue to be served food 10min wait to order. One member of staff seems to be doing everything. Nine tables waiting on food and tables waiting to be cleaned. All in all a great Saturday. Staff where there is staff run of their feet.
Morrisons has changed over the years the new layout is better although I would not think walking to the other side of shop to access milk is a great idea, not sure why they chosen this layout. Apart from that it's great range of foods for all types of budget the butchers counter is great service .
Good selection of produce and layout albeit the meat is at the back of the shop with fruit and veg at the beginning. The staff member who served us at the till was really friendly and chatty which added to our experience.
My visit to shop was grate Staff is very polite and helpful if u have any questions. I always find every product that I'm looking for. Price are good. Morrison's offered a choice of sales products and promotions
