The shop has a lovely and convenient location but for people who finish late don't bother dashing there as the doors close at 9.45pm or earlier I rushed there on Thursday night, wanting a chocolate dessert at 9.50pm and it was closed I went back again at the weekend at 9.47pm and it was closed so then as I was driving past Sainsbury's I noticed that they were still letting customers in. Thank you Sainsbury's because I really wanted a watermelon and some chocolate

So it appears I’m not the first one to complain about that arrogant and very discriminative security guard of yours who seems to have an attitude problem. Tonight I came into your shop to buy two items which I was planning to be in and out as I had a long day at work. I brought my bike in as I don’t have a lock to chain it up with and it’s not exactly something you would leave unsecured around Craigleith. Whilst not halfway round the shop I was told to get out as I was not allowed to have my bike in the shop bearing in mind I wasn’t actually riding the bike which if I was I could see an issue. I told the horrendous security guard I didn’t have one to which he replied “not my problem” then continues to follow me out to the exit. I wasn’t in the wrong here his job is to stop shoplifters not paying customers who want to buy something from the shop I won’t be back in that shop and that security guard needs fired absolutely awful behaviour

No cash checkout any more no signage to show. Poor shop staff full of excuses.

The customers who shop in here have absolutely disgusting behaviour. It's something I've just never witnessed in Sainsbury's across the street. People shoving and pushing and just reaching completely across you to get to the shelf you're looking at. I don't know what it is about people who shop at Lidl having no respect for personal space. If you have any sort of disability at all, this shop isn't for you.

This is my local Lidl store. The shop is always clean and tidy. The prices are competitive as you would expect from a budget supermarket. The store has a general happy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are genuinely friendly and always helpful. I look forward to my weekly visits here and to finding something unusual in the middle aisle.

Nice big shop, lots of choice. Lots of middle isle goodies to find.

Amazing variety of products and at a reasonable price. However, staff are also always ready to support and help us out.

Inexpensive supermarket with app to entice you back. Spend £100 in a month to get £5 discount.

Prices great, produce good, service appalling. Tonight 8 people queued to get through self scan, no tills on, guy says till 4 opening, I walk over, I said to him is this opening, he said yes, then vanished, 5 minutes later not open, security guard said it’s not opening, I left my groceries on the serving belt and left the shop. There were 2 full baskets left on the floor beside the queue. Real problem with staff in here, walking about, not filling shelves and certainly not serving customers. Normally the staff are bust filling shelves so I can understand the queues. I won’t say I will stop going there but it certainly won’t be my grocery store of choice, Sainsbury's is more expensive but a far better experience.
