I purchased a crusty sour rye bloomer from your in-store bakery on West Grantom Road in Edinburgh and was horrified to find a cut human nail baked into the bread. This discovery represents a serious failure of basic food hygiene standards

A convenient and well stocked Lidl where you can pick up quality items at cheaper prices.

Placing rotten fruit and vegetables on the shelves, especially without an expiration date, is truly shameful! Those who run the supermarket should be eating this crap... instead of getting paid handsomely and putting rotten produce on the shelves!.,they freeze and then defrost then freeze and then defrost again..shame on you!!!!

Easy access to this value supermarket. Friendly staff. Getting back on to the busy road can take patience.

They close the door 10 minutes before the closing time, exactly 9.50 pm. Absolutely change my plan and night!!!! Not a good shop never visit again!!!! Also, I make complaints about this and share all Facebook forums.

I walked to this lidl as I remembered it having a big sign advertising toilets but both where out of order. But luckily store across the street accomidated me. This lidl is clean and in fine condition but don't advtise if you can't handle the heat.

Great produce. Freshly baked pastries and breads in bakery section, superb selection of meats including venison and ostrich. Ample parking space
