Don’t order uber eats or delivery from here - they pick cheaper versions of the product you bought without clicking that they’re substituting it so you get charged full price, or they just don’t give you the product at all. They don’t answer the phone when you try to contact them, and if you have an issue with the self service till if you go to get shopping in person, they take 3-5 business days to respond, or sigh when having to help you. It might be called a co-op, but they really arent willing to cooperate when it comes to helping customers

The shop was well stocked and the staff, as always helpful and friendly. I find co-op's fresh produce, meat, veg, salads etc are always great quality and value for money.

Good local shop in Newtongrange. Has a bakery section and a good variety of fresh produce. Still has a one way system which can be a pain and very few people abide by this rule. Self serve tills which are great for quickness.

Co-op and subsidiaries Scotmid and Nisa are not good for your pocket! They all always seem to have stacks of reduced to clear stock. I assume this is because they are generally overpriced compared to other businesses. Quite often aisles inside all of their shops are partially blocked either with promotional stock or staff replenishing stock. Absolutely no consideration for blind or wheelchair using customers!

Prefer here to any of the other supermarkets in the area. The prices may be a little higher but the friendliness of the staff, the lack of queue, the fully stocked shelves and the feeling you're not being herded round like sheep make this a much more pleasant shopping experience during these times. Always my 1st choice when nipping to the shops

Went there this afternoon with a client for something for his tea. Great for the basics and last minute items. Wheelchair friendly entrance and the aisles are wide enough. Friendly, helpful staff and check outs are both staffed or if you're in a hurry you can use the self service.
