My favourite Lidl in Edinburgh. Always good on stocks, relatively quiet compared to other stores.

You now have to scan your receipt at a barrier to get allowed out. Great fun carrying three heavy shopping bags.

I’ve been frequently visiting this Lidl for over 3+ years now. Always been impressed with selection of products, price and cleanliness of the store. However, the customer service has went drastically down hill in the last few months. Following the introduction of the self service tills staff work ethic and availability has dipped. On several occasions I’ve had to put my large weekly shop through the self service tills while staff chatted and watched. I really don’t mind the addition of these self service tills as I know the major benefits for the stores and customers however I believe there still should be the option to help those completing a larger shop. On one occasion I asked a staff member to help me at the till that was listed open and they directed me back to that till quite rudely saying it was open. As I waited with another customer for over 5 minutes already at this stage I relayed my disappointment to them. Happy to wait but not be spoken down to. Hopefully these are just teething issues and customers service can get back to where it once was.

Plenty of space for 3 basket trolleys for each aisle, always smells like delicious baked goods, will always find what I need and many parking spaces available. What else do you need?

It was a good choice of goods and they had more plants than other Lidl branches near me. So I was split for choice and bought more than I planned. However, I went in for the large fresh orange juice from their machine. But there were no large empty bottles. I did ask but they had none. So I left it. But I got my groceries, plants, and a cardigan. Lots of choices to choose from.

You can get many things here which are cheaper compared to other supermarkets. Good choice for international students for budget shopping. Usually not busy at anytime of the day. Big parking space is a plus point. Nice staff which is always ready to help.

Not the worst lidl but my local. Staff friendly especially the young English lad on the tills. Hit & miss with stock but when it's good it's good. Bakery could be better- goods often stale & I know the morning rolls are frozen. Food choice is good but limited. Shop floor is always being cleaned , the cleaner is nice enough to go around you. Baskets & toilets a bit grim. Fairly priced shop with plenty parking & an electric car charger & parcel drop off collection point.

I'm always happy to visit and discover different foods and items, often useful ones at a good price and quality. As a Belgian, I'd love more Belgian cheese. Always a treat when they have it!

Well its just like every other lidle. Great parking space, really low prices, nice pastries and the croissants are really good. Nice staff too.

Was in here about a year ago and going to get some food from the bakery section. Unfortunately there were lots of fly's on the bakery food. Went in the shop again today (end of October) for the second time and again a random fly just flying about on the food.
