   I popped into this shop looking for a good pair of walking shoes to get more steps in. I don't know the brands, so I was grateful that staff member Russ patiently assisted me. He shared his expert knowledge and, unlike some places, did not direct me to the most expensive shoe. He was focused on getting me a shoe that would truly fit and last. Top man! Russ is a credit to Cotswold Outdoor and to the sales profession.

   Very patient and helpful team. Had a very complicated set of requirements, involving online orders, returns, another online order, a discount voucher - quite the package! But they worked with me, willing to go the extra yard so I could get the exact pair of shoes I wanted.

   All great store for quality outdoor clothes and gear. Really helpful staff. But very limited parking nearby. (It's best to use the Sainsbury's car park 500 metres away if one of the handful of spaces on the street nearby is occupied)

   I had excellent service from the running shoe dept last year so called them two days ago to check they had a good range of waterproof walking shoes in my size. Assured they did, I went along to discover the good range was only two, neither which I liked. Wasted journey. Will try elsewhere in future.

   Very nicely laid out store with large variety of products and good stock. went in for some walking/hiking shoes. the staff were great - in particular Jaoquin who helped with answering our many questions and being of great service - nothing was too difficult for him. It was nice to see great customer service in the store as other staff members had the same great attitude. nice to experience and keep up the great work!
