   Quiet Friday morning and the place was absolutely freezing and airy, my kids were complaining of cold feet. The role play shop was empty which was disheartening for the kids, all fighting over 1 trolley and a handful of dirty plastic food. All the soft play / climbing frame was enjoyed by our bunch of 2 year olds but all of the ball machines not working either. I came out of the soft play and my black leggings were disgustingly dirty The baby area had 2 ball pit balls and a pile of useless soft play. The chairs were dirty from the day before and tables sat dirty after people had left for quite some. I phoned the previous day to enquire prices and was told that under 12m were free but I got charged £1 today for 9m old. Not much but its the principal of being told something else. WONT BE BACK! OVERPRICED for what they offer.

   I tend to judge these things using my 5 year old twins as subject matter experts. The fact that I didn’t see them for over half an hour at a time attests to how much fun they had exploring the shop area and the soft play adventure area! Lunch was had at this venue as well. For £3.50 my daughter had cheesy beans on toast, and my son had a cheese sandwich for the same price. Adult sandwiches were about £6 each but came with a side salad. The coffee was pretty decent as well; the venue grinds the coffee beans to make your coffee fresh. To top it off, there was a great view from the window.

   Finally did make it to the soft play. Disappointed to see there was no discount given to kids with disabilities. The price overall is very expensive when we add the whole family in. Not much of choices with food options but yes people working there were very friendly and helpful.

   We took our granddaughter (well, my niece's daughter!) and had a fine time. It's basic, plastic and unexciting but then it's filled with hordes of 2-year-olds, so that's fine. The softplay area itself is spacious, safe, well appointed and big enough for adults to crawl round. We've been before and will return..
