Starting laser treatment to remove the eyebrows. They are over processed and she left me with scar tissue! Said the colour didn’t stick to my skin so it’s totally over saturated, when the issue was the ink she used.

AVOID AVOID AVOID !!! Mae has ruined my lashes and eyebrows with 2 botched treatments. She over - processed my lashes - which has left them frazzled. She was suppose to top up my eyebrows but I'm still having to draw them in. She has left 1 eyebrow longer than the other and there is no brush strokes, just 2 grey blobs. I wish I had checked her most recent reviews aswell , as others saying the same. It would appear one look fits all - 2 thin grey blobs as eyebrows- that are not measured, not professionally microbladed , and are too high. Overall, it's a disgrace that she is continuing to practice. She is very rude aswell. I texted her for a refund of the £120 she charged me but, she's not interested after she's taken your cash. I would give her zero stars if I could. STAY WELL CLEAR!!

Went for microblading, the whole experience felt rushed, I'd been told by friends/family that it would take hours, I was in and out in 35 minutes, they were done free hand, they aren't the worst I've ever seen but not the best either - no discussion about what I'd like, just straight to it. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend

Having read previous great reviews I thought I'd give Mae's a go. I have previously had them done years ago at a very popular and well recognised permanent make up artist, so I know what to expect. For an establishment that claims to be a beauty studio, that's kind of funny, because it looks like an old run down back alley shop or hairdresser. It comprises of just a hairdresser chair and mirror, a small counter for payment and one very small dark dinghy room for the treatment, very unappealing. And it didn't look like it'd been decorated for decades. Your artist should measure your brows for the beginning, arch and tail. They should also draw them on in eyebrow pencil in a colour that you agree on to show you the shape and thickness before proceeding. I also had minimal discomfort and bleeding. None of this was done. It was very quick, amateurish and you get the feeling it's as quick as possible to get the next customer in. A one size fits all type of approach. It was painful, bled a lot and it was not a good result at all, unsurprisingly. I absolutely do not recommend.

Highly recommend... Mae is an exceptional therapist, knowledgeable friendly understanding. I have been a customer for many years even though I have now moved to Eastkilbride I still attend Mae's Brows to have my treatments done. Wouldn't go elsewhere.

I took my mum, who has crohns and has hair loss due to her treatment, to Mae today and we both couldn't be more pleased with the outcome she really explains everything to you in detail and goes over the aftercare and next steps. She also makes sure that the results she gives you are suited to your face and not just what is "on trend". She has made my mum so happy and so I am so happy with her experience.
