Shannon did such an amazing job with my nails for my wedding! I asked for a peach colour with chrome and they came out so beautiful!
Recently had gel nails here… nails started falling off and left fungal infection underneath. Spoke to pharmacist who said it was due to non sanitary equipment or poor placement (leaving a gap between nail bed and gel which allowed moisture in). I’ve had gel nails for years and never had this issue anywhere else. Wouldn’t have posted a review but I popped in to the salon to mention it, was told a manager would call me, and they never did! So obviously not bothered about it! Won’t be going back… now have horrendous nails to deal with until it grows out.
Have been going to the one lounge for the best part of 5 years - its my go to for nails, massages, eyebrows, lash lifts etc. I even booked in the week before I got married and got pampered & wedding ready too. The staff are really friendly and I trust them to give me good quality, safe treatments. I've also bought friends gift vouchers for birthdays / treats as I love the place so much. Would recommend!
Recently went to The One Lounge for both my eyebrows and nails. Cheryl always does a fantastic job with my eyebrows and making sure they're just how I want them. Jenna is also so good with nails! Knows her stuff and can do any design you fancy. Such a beautiful salon, very clean and all the staff are so lovely, would definitely recommend for any beauty or hair needs!
Really disappointed in this salon. I understand businesses need to have protection for no shows, however I informed the salon first thing in the morning that I wouldn't make my appointment later that evening due to a nasty sickness bug that came on during the night. The salon replied super short, with no offer of a re-schedule etc, stating that i would still be charged anyway. When i expressed my disappointment at this they just stopped answering my messages. I tried to phone several times to speak to someone but voicemail every time. Will never use this salon again. It was almost as if they were pleased to lose the appointment but still get their money anyway. Absolutely abysmal customer service.
I have been to the salon many times for facials, massage and nails and every time I am over the moon with the results and leave totally relaxed. Treatments are always tailored to suit perfectly. I would highly recommend picking the one lounge for your next pampering!
Have been attending the One Lounge from the beginning and wouldn’t think about going anywhere else. For a Burns Supper I suggested ‘tartan nails’ - Julia thought about it and 20 minutes later, I had tartan nails! I have recommended many of my friends and they have all become regular clients. Top marks for Julia and her team .
