Fantastic nursery, I wish I’d been able to send all my children here. Staff are super friendly and do so many varied and educational activities with the children. My children love to be outside, and this is one of the few places they’re able to be outside as much as they want. They benefit from fresh air, being in nature, and learning about the natural world and how we affect it.

Riverside is a truly wonderful childcare setting. My two boys started here aged 2 and immediately loved their Riverside day. The nursery has the most caring , nurturing and supportive staff and this coupled with the amazing outdoor areas makes for the best experience for pre school children.

Riverside cottage nursery is a fantastic nursery allowing kids to experience the wonders of the outdoors while making friends and learning values and valuable lessons. My son attended for 3 years before starting at school, he is now almost 10 and fondly remembers his riverside days. My 4 year old daughter is now attending and absolutely loves it, some of the staff have changed but the ethos and same quality in childcare remains. I would highly recommend.

In a world where technology is taking over, this nursery offers natural environment with a good size outdoor space. Woodland basically attached to the property I’ll not spoil it! It’s a must see!! The warm cosy feel within is so natural you wish you stayed for a while longer. It’s not like bigger nursery’s it’s very tailored and children’s welfare truly do come first. You will definitely feel safe leaving your children here, pop along and see for yourself.

Riverside has a really nice wholesome feel. My daughter started here when she turned two, she took a while to settle in but now runs in with a big smile and is off playing with barely a wave goodbye. I really love that she gets to play outside in any weather, they have so much space to play and explore outside. She also seems to like playing in their polytunnel and really seems to enjoy a nap in the hammock.

Even at just a quick glance you can see the differences that set this nursery a mile above all other nurseries in the area. This is not about sending your child to some horrid preschool structured lessons.... it's about kids being kids. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. My daughter thrived under their care and the extra help given during potty training as well as all other aspects of development was second to none. Free range kids is advertised and that is exactly what you get. Meals are of the highest quality and nutrition. Facilities are outstanding. Even when childcare was no longer an issue for us we continued to send our daughter there just because she enjoyed it so much. Shame we moved away from the area. Our daughter now goes to one of the Montessori nurseries, which are considered to be the best and it is very good . . . but not even close to the standard set by Riverside Cottage. Carry on the good work guys! Bob Keeble (Livia's dad)
