Came in for a few highlights to freshen up my look along with a cut. Was talked into a balayage that went much lighter than I was looking for. Came in expecting to pay £80 from what they have listed online, left with £140 and didn't like my hair. Harsh line where the blonde just cuts right next to my face. I wanted to love this salon but can't get over that I left not loving my look. I hate the pressure salons put on you to do more than you book and this salon definitely did that.

Couldn’t recommend Cree enough. Really great with colour and styling (for a haircut too) and does exactly what I want (suggests options when I am unsure). 10/10 service and a lovely person too. Prices fully justified and will defo be back x

I tried this place after I couldn’t get an appointment with my regular hairdresser. It was awful. Had my hair aggressively washed with scalding hot water by an angry member of staff, then when I asked to have my hair cut just below my shoulder, she cut it just below my chin and after the first snip was like “Is that length ok?” Well it’ll have to be now! I’m so angry. On top of that, when I got home, I could see longer straggly bits, like my hair was cut with blunt scissors. Never again! *** Update - Jan 2018: my hair has finally grown out to the length I originally asked it to be cut to. I ended up fixing the straggly bits myself. In conclusion, if you fancy having hair like Travis from Clueless, this is the place for you. If not, go elsewhere.

First time visiting this place and it was awesome. Firstly I missed my appointment because I got lost (tip: don't follow google as google doesn't have the street number so it took me to the other end of the street which is 20 mins away) Anyway they were very good with me and got me another appointment later that day. Hadn't had my hair cut for 2 years so was a bit scared, the girl was lovely attentive sorted me out and I LOVE my new haircut. Plus I got a wee toffee crisp with my tea, what more could you ask for :D

Have never written a bad review before, but I left the salon today wishing I had never gone - something that's never happened with another salon. £145 down and disappointed/upset/annoyed by the whole experience. I had balyage last week and felt unhappy with the colour - was told that if I went home and was still unhappy, I should call and organise to have another toner put on. I did so, and they kindly gave me an appointment for the next day. Unfortunately it took 2 more toner attempts to get something close to what I wanted (I wanted a natural/sunkissed look: it's gone from being too blonde/yellow/stripy to now being almost my natural colour again. Neither is what I wanted). It was only afterward that I was told I'd need to pay extra - this wasn't mentioned before or during the appointment - which ended up in a very uncomfortable and unpleasant discussion/argument with the manager/owner (in front of 2 other customers - even more uncomfortable, and not professional). I ended up having to pay an extra £20 and left feeling unhappy, guilty (partly for not liking my hair and for asking for it to be redone, but also I was admittedly very late to the appointment because of getting lost, which I felt really bad about and apologised for repeatedly) and annoyed by it all. Only agreed to pay the extra because I was so late to the appointment + because the manager was making it so uncomfortable. Really regret going in the first place, and although the manager did apologise and gave me a free blowdry voucher, I feel too disappointed by the whole thing to go back. Worst part: She pretty much accused me of lying (said that I told them I liked my hair at the first appointment and basically have changed my mind - not at all true) and I have a strong feeling that they were talking negatively about me as soon as I walked out of the door. Not a good feeling, and not a good experience.
