   I went here to get my nails done for my wedding. I am a nurse and do not ever get my nails done so I am not very knowledgable when it comes to nails. My friends & family told me to get BIAB so I contacted this salon 2 weeks ago with pictures and they said they would be able to do something like my inspo pics. All the staff were really friendly and the salon was nice. However, when I explained what I wanted Becca said there was only really one colour that she would able to do with BIAB. I was looking for a nude nail with either a floral design or a sparkle and what I ended up with was a very subtle pink and not at all what I wanted. I was able to pick the nude I wanted for my toes but then my hands and toes weren't matched AT ALL. I asked if some more art could be done on the other fingers because it felt a bit bare and Becca said it would look unbalanced, which fair enough, she was probably right but I felt bad then for saying I wasn't happy. In hindsight, I really should have let them know this was not what I wanted at all - I had shown her a picture of my dress which has a nude underlay in it so I really wanted nude nails, not pink nails. I paid and left and when I got to my car I compared my nails with the look I was going for and I just burst into tears because it was nothing like what I wanted. I thought maybe I should just get over it but I called my sister who gets her nails done with BIAB every couple of weeks and she informed me that you can get ANY colour of gel polish on top of BIAB. I was so upset then because I didn't feel like I was informed or given multiple options and ended up feeling really bad about myself. I didn't want to go back and ask for a refund or for them to change it because I felt so embarrassed. My sister-in-law saw me so upset so phoned them on my behalf to let them know how I felt and they said no refund because I received a service & that I seemed happy with them at the time. I am very bad at conflict and didn't have it in me to say I was unhappy at the time. After the phone call I looked closer at my toes, which were the nude gel that I got to pick and am extremely disappointed with how badly done they are. Because I was so upset about my hands I didn't even properly look at my toes. Yes, I paid for a service, but it was not done well. This is my wedding and I spent money on nails that I will have to go and get redone now. I hate to leave poor reviews and I probably am just more sensitive because my wedding is coming up but I can't lie and say I am not disappointed.    I have been coming here for years. The girls are so lovely and the treatments always perfect. I don't live in the area anymore but still travel (30mins) as I know I will never be disappointed.

   Ok, Jenny was my hairdresser. I booked a full head bleach , tint and cut and blow dry. When I originally booked I was told the cost would be £60. Went in for my skin test as it was my first time using the salon. On talking with Jenny I was told the cost was £80 and I was mis quoted! I was then told that they don't usually do full head bleach ?? But, they would do it anyway! The cut was good hence the stars. Bleach was fine and so was toner. Was explained to me that the ends needed less bleach as per my last salon visit (elsewhere). Went home quite happy ,washed my hair the next day and noticed that I had 2 tone hair, it was supposed to be silver. The top of my hair and yellowish ends. I phoned right away and was told to come in......in 4 days time!!! Not happy. When I got in I was told that she had explained this to me?! At no point was I told I would NOT have silver hair, but silver and yellow? I don't think so .She said she could over tone it to fix it but I had to pay! £18.50. Next the owner or boss was wheeled out and said the same. Said that I'd just paid out 85 pounds(inc tip) and I couldn't afford any more right now! Was told to have a nice Christmas when it came and that was that. So that's why I won't be back. I was also made to feel by Jenny a bit like a fool and she obviously was not happy with me complaining! Also did not like the boss being brought out while Jenny defended herself and how I was wrong and that I didn't listen or take in what she told me on the day?! So, I'm afraid my whole experience was ruined...cheers!
