This is hard to write, but I feel it’s important. I left this appointment with serious damage to my hair due to overlapping bleach and poor technique. I brought this up directly and wasn’t met with any real accountability or concern. I’ve spent months trying to recover my hair and confidence. I’m posting this to help others avoid the same experience.
Visited Katy 2 times so far. First was few months ago to do layers as my hair felt too heavy. I wasn't sure how to explain what I had in mind but. After a few minutes discussion Katy started cutting my hair and... she did it! My hair looked so much different - lighter, healthier, more under control. Today I came to do highlights or balayage. I only had a rough idea what colour I want. Again, Katy was extremely patient, explained difference between both and even got a special product so that we could skip bleaching. I cannot recommend Katy enough! Not only she's a great hairdresser with outstanding skills and intuition but also a humble and genuine person. Even if you had a bad experience with a hairdresser, give Katy a chance!
Today I had my hair cut and blow dried at Katy Hair and Beauty. It was Katy who styled my hair. I'm absolutely delighted with the style as I was needing a change. Katy is very intuitive. I wished to have layers put in. Katy had style in mind. Today was my first visit to Katy's salon. Katy is a lovely bubbly woman. I feel as if I've known her my whole life. She gave me great aftercare advice. I highly recommend Katy's salon.
Went in without an appointment, a disaster in my hair, had a really short time available before work and I couldn’t be more pleased by the professionalism and cordiality of Katy!! She literally read through my mind on what I wanted. Love my new hair xxx

Went to Kate after a very bad hair extension experience. She provided me and my daughter amazing advice and was very honest and trustworthy. Kate wants clients to have a positive hair experience not to make money out of them. She advised us where to buy real hair extensions and then to bring them to her to fit therefore saving us money. Most down to earth amazing lady. We are both delighted with our extensions (daughter a weave and me tapes). Can't recommend her highly enough.
I hadmy roots and a trim done recently. Katy did a fab job. She really pays so much attention to what you ask for. Lovely atmosphere in salon also. Highly recommend!
Had my weave done here today. Very inexpensive, amazing advice and great service! Will definitely be back.
