I’ve been going to Nails and Spa for a few years now and I wouldn't anywhere else. The whole team are so friendly and professional. My nails are always done to perfection I’m constantly getting compliments and people asking me where I get them done from. I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough.
Have been going here a few years. I was going on holiday recently wanted something a bit different and decided I really liked Ombre nails the same as one of the technicians nails at the time. I went in a few days before my holiday to check the days the artist I normally went to would be working and look at colours etc but unfortunately the artist had left since my last visit. I decided I'd still keep going here and go back to the artist I spoke to with the nice Ombre nails. I wanted to wait another day or so just to get packed etc so paid £15 to get my old nails soaked off and we spoke about me coming back in for the Ombre nails. I wasn't told that the soak off would cost £5 if i was getting new nails the next day and they knew i was coming back in the day after. After spending another £80 for my nails & toes on top of the £15 soak off because i wasn't told anything different, my new ombre nails chipped by the next day so I was back in trying to get them fixed the same day I was going on holiday with limited time. The artist who did my nails was off the next day so I was sat down quite rudely by someone else who didn't like what was on my nails, then they abruptly swapped with another artist in the middle of doing a customers nails to try to fix more problems with my nails. The 3rd artist did their best to fix my nails without having to start all over again but I went on holiday with bubbly chipped nails. I went back into the shop when I got home to speak about it quite happy to put it aside and get my nails fixed but explained that I didn't have time to sit down again in the salon until later in the week. The manager of the shop said they would like to fix my nails sooner rather than later which was fair enough but no apology was given. The manager wasn't there when I went back in at the end of the week as arranged so I was sat down in the chair for half an hour with the artist telling me all they would be able to do was cover the chips with a chrome top coat or glitter until I came back the next time to pay for an infill and they said I should be happy the top coat would make them better than before when they were chipped. I didn't go ahead because I didn't want sparkly nails and I didn't feel it was fair that I should have to wait for my next infil and then pay more money when I didn't get the nails I paid for to begin with for the proper length of time up to my next infil. So then I was asked to come back in again the following day when the Manager was back in. I went back in the next day as requested for the 3rd time and told the manager at that point I'd be happy to just get the chipped nails taken off completely with some sort of discount off my next visit. The manager said to pick a colour and they re-did my nails instead. They didn't speak to me the entire time I was sitting in the chair while some of the staff sat at the end of the bar sniggering. When the manager finished they eventually apologised for what happened. I said that it was ok & not to worry, then they told me to go somewhere else in future for my nails stating that my standards are too high. I definitely won't be back and I feel this behaviour was deceptive and totally inappropriate. I've never gone in for anything different than solid colour biab or powder acrylic and one colour gel toes. If they didn't appreciate the business they should have offered me a full cash refund to go elsewhere to get the nails I paid for that Nail Spa never delivered. This company only accepts cash and they appear to be very dodgy with money and overall. The management should perhaps invest in product delivery to justify prices. Lastly, in response to the reply from Nail Spa. My expectations are no greater than any other regular paying customer and the suggestion that this is the case is a clear deflection and blame shift. Also seems a bit of a coincidence there's been no reviews on here for over 6 months and 5 new uploaded since this post was put on a few days ago. Probably worth noting none of the reviews are actually verified. Best regards Local customer
Always come here for my nails and won't go somewhere else anymore. I am very busy working so I love how fast they are. I'm also very picky with my designs so it's nice to have so many colour options and talented technicians to work their magic.
Lovely friendly nail tech, helped me choose the right colour beforehand and the best shape. Tidy, clean and well presented shop. It’s lovely coming back each month for fresh nails.
Worst ever experience ever of nails!!!!! Absolutely daylight robbery!!! Took my 11 year old daughter and two of her friends to get gel nails for her birthday. My daughter was finished in 15mins, her two friends not much longer! No prepping of nails just gel straight on. My daughter got a couple of crystals which were off within the hour. I was absolutely horrified to be charged £74 for less than an hours work on all 3 girls. My own salon takes approx an hour to get my nails prepped and gel on ( just couldn’t get this salon to take 3 girls at same time sadly!). Avoid unless you want to throw hard earned cash down the toilet. Needless to say,I’ll never set foot in the door again. Oh, and of course, it’s £74 in cash. No card allowed!!!!!!
Love this place ! Done my nails everytime over 3 years in this shop, always best quality and unique design
First time there and had a fab experience especially loved the massage chair when getting a pedicure... would totally recommend
It was a lovely place and very friendly. Nails were okay but didn't really get what I asked for. I will be back as nails are nice and sturdy will just pick something else next time
Every time I go the staff are so friendly and really helpful matching up your colours. I get acrylic nails and they last for weeks. Definitely recommend.
