   Laura was an absolute dream to work with. She did mine, my mum and 3 bridesmaids hair for my wedding recently. I started with a trial in her home based salon. I tried 3 different styles and she gave me her professional opinions and advice on what might work best for my hair but in-keeping with my inspo. On the day she was a blast. Fit right in with our atmosphere and was full of chat an stories. Most importantly the hair was AMAZING! The best way to explain how good Laura is...Put it this way. I danced so hard the wire burst out of my hoop and I burst apart my bustle. But my hair was still perfect when I got to my honeymoon suite at 1 AM, some 15 hours after it got put up! Thank you Laura for being a part of my bridal team!

   Laura styled my bridal party’s hair on my recent wedding day. I had to leave a review to acknowledge the fact that Laura went above and beyond. I had only 3 weeks to find a hair stylist and Laura was able to offer her services, as well as even making a trial possible in such a short time. I could see she was communicating with me outwith her working hours to ensure she had all the information she needed to have myself and my bridesmaids with the hairstyles we all hoped for on the morning of the wedding.    I'm not one to usually leave reviews, however I feel compelled to do so after my recent experience. I feel there is a lack of communication and lack of professionalism. My bridal hair trial appointment was booked in December for an agreed date in February. When I enquired the week before the trial if it was still good to go, radio silence for 3 days. When I called to confirm, I was told she was on holiday despite social media suggesting otherwise. Eventually, 4 days before my trial, I was asked if my appointment could be moved 3 hours after my agreed upon time, I reiterate, I had booked this appointment well in advance. In addition, my trial booking was accepted via direct messaging, however when I asked to include my bridesmaids in a separate booking, I was pointed in the direction of her website instead. This left me wondering if my own appointment was still valid, hence my reason for double checking. I would not recommend Laura Courtie to others if they are seeking someone to style the hair of their bridal party.
