   EDIT: I just wanted to say that Scott has been in touch and offered to take another look at my hair or refund me. Of course I would've preferred to get the haircut I wanted, when I wanted it, but this is the second best thing after the mistake has been made and I respect that. Perhaps it just wasn't my lucky day. I trust he'd be able to fix it for me, but I'm not around at the moment to find out. Maybe I'll visit again in the future. -------- I originally wasn't going to leave the review, because of my own fault I left the salon saying I was happy, the hair was styled, with product in, and I genuinely thought it'd be OK after a wash, but it's not and I'm really upset. I first went to Scott last year. I showed him a picture of what I wanted. I got something much shorter and completely different, but apart from the length, it worked for me so I thought I'd give it another try. Second time, I brought the picture of my last hair cut and said: "You cut it, same please, but longer around the face (blond picture below)". What I got instead is the cut where my hair is darker. There's maybe two layers to it, it's bulky at the bottom and flat at the top. The fringe looks like a nursery kid chopped it. My alarm bells should've gone off when I showed him the picture and then he still asked how I wanted the fringe. Well, like in the picture, right...? Scott was polite but appeared a bit absent minded and I never felt confident he listened to me or understood. I am quite surprised how bad this haircut came out considering that he put a lot of time and effort when I was there last time. Perhaps first time clients get better treatment, so they come back, and I didn't come back for a year?

   My fourth visit to Scott’s salon for a cut and colour. Scott is the best hairdresser I have been to (and I have been to a lot). His years of experience really show. Scott always listens to what I want, has a good eye for what suits me and gives me a great cut. Opted for more layers this time and highlights/lowlights. My colour is gorgeous and everyone has complimented it. Great music in the salon, relaxed vibe and a hairdresser who really knows his craft. Rebooking already!

   Had my hair highlighted and cut here recently. Honestly, it was probably one of the best hair cuts I’ve ever had. Scott gave me exactly what I wanted and I was so happy with how it turned out. I’m always nervous going to a new hairdresser that I won’t be happy with the result but Scott is really talented. The salon has a nice vibe too, it’s really chill but also professional. Prices are great too. Would definitely recommend.

   I was very nervous going in, I have anxiety and find appointments hard to make however it was a very relaxing experience, I loved the music. Scott was very nice and made my hair look wonderful. Glad to know I have a place to count on now!

   Lovely blow dry today, Scott adhered to Covid rules in his spotless salon without making it a clinical experience. He sure knows how to wield a brush. The salon had a good calming vibe and I enjoyed getting my hair done.

   Highly recommend! I came to Scott’s hairdressing to fix a bad haircut I got somewhere else a few days before. Scott gave me advice, talked me through what he was going to do, took his time with attention to detail. He totally fixed my haircut in a way that exceeded my expectations! Left the salon very happy and feeling glamourous :-) Thanks again, I’ll definitely come back.
