Francesca is amazing ,had consultation, before she did colour correction, advised me on what colour would be best for me,and then worked her magic, the colour is amazing and my hair is silky ,shiny and feels so soft and healthy,5 stars plus lovely family atmosphere in shop
I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Maxwell’s Place recently, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hairdressing experiences I’ve ever had. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she also takes the time to really listen to what you want. She offered thoughtful suggestions based on my hair type and face shape, and the end result was even better than I’d hoped. My cut and colour were flawless – modern, flattering, and easy to maintain – and I left the salon feeling refreshed and confident. What sets Francesca apart is her attention to detail and her ability to make you feel comfortable throughout the whole process. She’s friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about her craft. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical skill with such a personal touch. I cannot recommend Francesca enough, I love my hair; she worked miracles with it! The experience was fantastic, she’s an expert in what she does and so knowledgeable. I can’t wait to see how my hair turns out next time I see her.
Bright clean and tidy salon. Staff very welcoming. I had a cut and blow dry with Francesca who listened to me and gave her thoughts. I was impressed with a consultation before getting my hair washed, I find this unusual for local salons. I left delighted with my cut and have already booked my next appointment.
My daughter now goes herself she has had her hair done here for about 10 years. She loves it here.
Both Margo n Alison are excellent stylists. V particular about Covid hygiene. For people with mobility issues, not ideal as v steep stair to access. Friendly salon n reasonably priced.
