I have been using Exit for a good number years now, the staff are fantastic, the coffee is also good, never a problem to get an appointment, highly recommended it..

The red-ish haired lady who washed my hair and curled it at the end of the appointment was very friendly and polite. She put a lot of effort into making sure my hair was evenly curly throughout. As somebody who struggles with anxiety, especially in a salon setting, she made me feel comfortable and didn't seem to care that I'm not the greatest at small talk.

If you want to purchase hair products from this place, I STRONGLY recommend you to check them before you leave! I asked for a heat protector and got a used bottle of something else! They just sticked the label on it and charged me 12£ for it..How disrespectful and unprofessional. Very disappointed with their service.

Awful I have never hated my hair so much. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON Look at my photos on this post ! Initially the first photo in the salon looks great. I wasn’t sure of the colour as I was walking home and I had looked at it in the day light so i decided to straighten it to see the colour distribution. I noticed then how bad the cut and colour was. I had a wedding to go to two days after having my hair done and was not going to go back to the salon to have them fix it. So I chose to go elsewhere. I think its very natural to not want to go back to the salon where they made so many errors. Ive had to spend a further £100 to fix what damage has been done by Stephanie. My hair had been over processed. They also used straighteners prior to colouring which I have since heard is not correct. The cut is hacked at and totally uneven with such short layers( i had no layers prior to this) The colour is also uneven and blotchy (see pictures) I had informed the stylist and the owner on the phone about my feelings and asked if I could share these photos with him, he saw them however he ignored all my messages, which I know have been read on the fb page private chat. I also asked why it cost me £152.50 of which again no explanation. I asked if he could return my money or some of it but again just ignored me. When I spoke to him on the phone he was very u professional rushing me off the phone saying “yea yea yea” as I was talking. I found the whole experience very unprofessional and all round a terrible. I have had balayage done for the past 5 years in canada and this is not how it should look to me this was more an ombre. I was told there wouldn’t be red tones as they used ash however there is definitely red. This experience has really upset me and cost me so much money and then to pay to fix. I would highly recommend you do not go to this salon. I feel the manager could have understood why I wouldn’t want to return to have them fix it and as a good will should have returned some of my money. Also when I look else where at the cost I still dont know why it cost so much. Maybe I should have asked at the time, however i had come from canada where id been paying about that price so seemed alot but not much different if i did the currency conversion. It wasn’t until i saw other places and prices afterwards that the top salons didnt even charge this amount. I had stupidly left a huge tip of 15 pounds and i since learned that people dont tip usually and if they do its a small amount, definitely not 15 quid.
