   I've been going to Craig at Westend hair for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. He has helped me through various styles, both short and long, and is always on hand with guidance and suggestions to help me to the style I want. I recently took my 3 year old son in for his first (proper) haircut. All the staff were brilliant; incredibly patient and made his feel at ease. Would highly recommend.

   Craig has been cutting my hair for years and doing a brilliant job at making me look presentable, taming my hair when many others have failed in the past. Whether it's my usual trim or changing up styles, I've always been happy with his service and been kept well entertained by his chat in the chair! Would recommend to all my mates.

   I hate writing poor reviews, especially for a business. I have had an haircut earlier and had a good experience . However this time, I had booked a for an haircut, and when I arrived, Sofia (Hair Stylist) informed me that she would charge me an additional 30 pounds on top of the 41 pounds I was paying. I was astounded by that mindset because I have always spent between 40 and 50 pounds for my haircut. However, if she had stated it before I booked the appointment, I would have been prepared to pay, but coming at the appointment and asking more is not acceptable. I will not be back, and I certainly won't recommend this saloon to anyone.

   Absolutely lovely staff with real talent, even the trainee stylists are great. Never regret trusting these people with my hair. I've seen them do wonders to all types of hair, curly, straight, mature. Whatever the style, these guys will sort you out.

   Absolutely thrilled with the haircut from Carolyn I had in November at Westend Hair. I needed a change and Carolyn created a completely new look for me. I can safely say it was one of the best haircuts of my life! My new longer bob has lasted brilliantly and Carolyn gave me some brilliant tips to enhance the volume and tousled look. Thank you Carolyn for a fantastic experience! I’ll be back.

   I was so happy 8 weeks ago when I got my first cut at this salon.. practically skipping out the salon. Samantha gave me a lovely edgy short Bob. Visiting last Thursday I expected the same result but was sadly let down. I asked for a chin length bob but what I got was a jawline bob that falls just below my ears! So much product was used my hair was no longer blonde but a disgusting shade of orange. It wasn't straightened and edgy like the first time...it was left blow dried and turned under like a bowl cut. I left looking and feeling like a little old lady and practically got knocked down trying to race back to my car. I could have commented but was left shocked and upset. Luckily I had no firm plans in town that day as I had to return home to wash and style my hair in Hamilton before returning to Glasgow for my planned day out.. The result of the cut is okay. Not what I asked for and badly let down by the salon experience as I didn't pay to feel like garbage. No I would not recommend.

   I went in to West End Hair after I had balayage done at another salon which ended up being too light and warm. I love the colour Corrin got my hair to - they were able to make the balayage look subtle and natural. The salon is friendly and welcoming and I felt really comfortable there.
