I love this beautiful, chic, and relaxing salon! Mauge and Aimee are both amazing, very talented, kind, and friendly. I’m loyal to the salon and have been to Mauge Style multiple times, always leaving feeling so beautiful. Aimee and Mauge take great care and time to style my hair, and the colour Aimee creates for me is always stunning and grows out beautifully. The private space Mauge has created in part of the salon makes me feel comfortable and respected as a Muslim woman. I can’t wait for my next visit! Highly recommend.

This was my first time visiting the salon. My usual hairdresser is no longer doing hair, so I've been looking for a new stylist. I'd heard good things about Mauge Style. The price is a bit more than I usually pay but I was happy to spend the extra if it meant getting a good hair cut. The salon is in a lovely area, it is nice inside and pretty clean. The rest of my experience however, was massively disappointing for the price. The stylist seemed a bit oblivious and like she didn't want to be there. I wasn't asked about skin allergies or anything before shampooing or products were used. Which is customary in any hairdressers I've been to before. I asked for a trim, layers and my hair to be thinned. My hair was cut and thinned. However, there were no layers to be found. I didn't realise this until after we left and I had a better look at my hair. I wasn't asked how I would like it styled either, it was just straightened. In all honesty, I felt pretty uncomfortable the whole time my hair was being done. The haircut I received looked pretty similar to how I cut my hair during lockdown. It's not bad, maybe a little choppy and it's definitely not £65 worthy. I've noticed that the reviews on here are older. So I'm hoping that this is maybe a bit more informative that this salon is definitely not worth the price now.

Haircut with Barry- I had a really great experience getting my hair cut with Barry. He listened to exactly what I was after and I am really happy with the results. The salon is lovely and I appreciated the nice calm music that was not invasive and allowed you to not have to shout over it. I highly recommend this salon and it's staff.
