   Highly recommended these stylists! Alanna is so professional, caring and went above and beyond to try and get my late mother her extensions before passing, even though it was not able to come to fruition, I cannot fault her character and praise her in the highest! I managed to get a cut and blowdry with Rhianna. I have natural hip length hair and was looking for a trim with face layers. Rihanna listened and executed it to perfection and didn't try and cut more away than I wanted. She was lovely and professional. 5 stars! Thanks ladies :) xxx

   I went for a haircut and was attended by Emma. She approached me with a smile. I showed her pics of face layers haircut that i was looking for. All was fine until i was given the worst shampoo wash of my life. There was very hot or very cold water only..despite her 5-6 attempts to adjust it, she couldn’t. Then within a minute of applying shampoo twice without any rubbing/ massaging my scalp she washed it off. Same she did with conditioner…washed it off within 5 seconds!! When i told won’t u leave it for a minute, she said that counts as a ‘treatment’! That’s the most lame thing to hear!! Even the condition bottle directs to leave it on for few minutes. Now coming to the haircut…after multiple interventions by me she could get through to something that i wanted. Twice the hair on one side was longer than the other which i had to point out. She might be good for hair styling but definitely my experience for basic haircut didn’t go well. The worst thing - she charged me £50 instead if £42.50 which was confirmed while taking appointment and also on their website. The reason being i had restyled. No where this price and categorising is mentioned on the site. The tariffs solely depend on the seniority of the stylist chosen. Very bad!! It’s a shame bcos of your lack of expertise you are cheating and fooling customers.

   I have been coming to Salon 145 since it opened and have always had exceptional service. I’ve had lots of different cuts, lengths, styles, and colours. My usual stylist is Jade and she’s fantastic. I really rely on her advice on the best options for my hair and love her knowledge and dedication. On the extremely rare occasion when I’m unsure about the finished result Jade has zero hesitation in taking the time to explain or fix things for me - something I think is rare in hairdressing. I’ve had my hair done by Emma twice and she’s brilliant as well. I had a particularly good experience with her a few weeks ago when I came in for my appointment very upset and distressed (nothing to do with the salon). Emma acknowledged my emotions and then proceeded with the perfect level of gentleness and chat. If you have any level of anxiety or distress around hairdressing I couldn’t recommend Emma highly enough.
