   I visited the salon on Saturday 9/11/25 and had the misfortune of having Lynn as my hairdresser. Proceeded to tell me that the service I had booked online was only for a trim (the service states dry CUT and NOT trim). I told her the last two times I have been, my hair has been properly cut in a style. To this she asked me how much I paid the previous times. This was such a rude question and made me out to be a liar. At this point, I contemplated walking out but she came back to ask what style I wanted, only glanced for a second at the video I was showing her and then proceeded to ruin my hair. She cut it way too short even when I had pointed out exactly how much I wanted cut. This salon did the same thing to my sister (my fault for giving them another chance). If your hair is precious to you, please DO NOT visit this place with absolutely incompetent and disrespectful hairdressers.

   Booked a "wedding day" hair trial appointment and appointments for my daughter's wedding day (Bride and Mother of the Bride). Appointments were booked well in advance for her wedding in July. Salon have emailed to advise that there is now no stylist available and gave her names of other hairdressers in the area. Very Disappointed and not very good Customer Service.

   There’s a really good atmosphere in the shop- staff are friendly and helpful. Julie had been my hairdresser for years now, I followed her from her last place of work. She helped me to transition from dark brown and grey to a blonde- her colour work is excellent and I always leave feeling great. I compare appointments with meeting up with a friend for coffee- considering how many clients she must see, she always remembers what I’ve been up to and asks after family. She’s friendly and always has a story or two to share about her own life and family. The exotic fish tanks are a novel idea and keep you mesmerised when getting your hair washed. A+ all round.

   I just had my hair cut here by Dani and she was absolutely spot on with the haircut. She's attentive, has great listening skills and understood how I wanted my hair to be cut. I would absolutely recommend Dani for her fantastic hairstyling expertise and customer service at Hair By Hanlon!

   Such a lovely spot. Friendly and accommodating staff, with amazing blowouts. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. Dani and Megan are extremely skilled and they have perfected their art to hairstyling. Easy and fast online booking, super reliable, always on time, and great prices! Highly recommend.

   I'm beyond happy with my experience. I was there for a balayage (fixing my ruined hair) and Sky (hope I'm spelling her name correctly) looked after me. I really didn't expect to walk out with a big smile on my face. I'd previously had my hair done just few doors up from them in 'urban hair' but i was devastate by the outcome. I'd never dyed my hair ever before, it was in great condition, I've got very long and curly hair and take a very good care of it. My first balayage at 'urban hair' was a disaster, just look at the pictures just words can't describe how bad it was. I went almost in tears and didn't want to speak to anyone. After a lot of search i found this place, the reviews were great so i thought I'd go in for a consultation. I met with Sky and i immediately knew i was in safe hands. I received a warm welcome, she was very kind, very polite and very respectful, she listened to me with patience. She was very motivated excited to get my hair fixed, she cut a few strands off my hair and did a test on them. It was so lovely to see her commitment and level of care, i felt relaxed and safe knowing of anyone can fix my hair it'll be her. It was so easy to communicate with her without being made to feel uncomfortable. After the long and detailed consultation i booked my appointment and i was got my hair done today. I couldn't be happier with the results, again just look at the photos cause words can't do it just. My hair feels and look great, i love the colours and the blend in my balayage, looks like something out of a movie or those Instagram pictures, i didn't expect such a transformation. Needless to say that i was very comfortable throughout the process, she was very careful handling my hair, it's hard to manage curly hair correctly without damaging it, she was the first person who managed to brush my hair without pulling it, not even once. I really wish I'd gone here the first time and had saved myself all that nightmare, but I'm glad i found this place and Sky and i don't ever need to bother searching for a place for my hair. I recommend her with absolute confidence, she went above and beyond for me. Wishing her all the best xxx
