   If I could give zero stars, I would. I booked and paid in advance for a bouncy blow dry, for a family wedding. I received confirmation and a reminder for my appointment… I rang as I couldn’t find the salon, only to be told that despite confirmation, reminders and taking payment in advance, they’d not actually booked my appointment in. Apparently they happily advertise on Treatwell, take money in advance, but the manager (as I was informed by staff) fails to check Treatwell and actually put the bookings in the diary. If you have an event, don’t trust this salon. Whilst I expect to receive a full refund, with the salon managers obvious inability to process simple administration tasks, I’m not holding out much hope…

   Myself and my cousin were travelling to Glasgow for a family wedding last Sunday. As you can imagine it’s not easy booking a Sunday hair appointment! We booked to have our hair curled before the wedding. Blink and you would have missed the door. The entry phone isn’t the best. The entryway isn’t the best but then you walk up a small flight of stairs to find a beautiful, modern and welcoming salon. Our stylist (so sorry your name has slipped my mind) was absolutely brilliant. The junior was lovely and keen to make us feel special. Coffee, popcorn and laughs and at the end we left feeling fab. The price was so surprising particularly for a Sunday. Great experience. Please give them your support as they just opened when Covid hit us and had to close. A jewel of a salon hidden in the bed shopping street in the city x

   Arrived 5 minutes early to my appointment be told that there system had double booked. I was very understanding as these things happen. Was then told the wait would be 15/20 minutes. I waited over an hour for my makeup appointment. Once seen by the makeup artist she was rushing and made a terrible job of my makeup. My eyeshadow had creased within 5 minutes of leaving the salon and my foundation was patchy. The woman who did my makeup also got foundation on my jumper which I can’t get out! Staff were apologetic but never offered me a discount or refund. Very dissatisfied. Won’t be returning.

   Petra Salon is the best salon! I have been going there since I can remember and I wouldn't ever go anywhere else. When you first arrive you are greeted like family and everyone is so so lovely. Johnny does my hair colouring and has also styled my hair for different events he is amazing. Petra have done my hair and make up for events like balls, nights out and my sisters wedding in June 2021. They made the morning of the wedding and we loved having them to be part of the day. They brought such a fun vibe to the morning and everyone was so happy with their hair and make up (ages ranged from 21-84!!). So from make up to hair colouring or blow drys and hair cuts they really are the best. Petra salon is made up of the most professional, friendly and talented people and I would recommend to everyone and anyone!

   The salon is absolutely gorgeous, it has a great, fun atmosphere (drinks, snacks and a banging playlist!) and the staff are so lovely and attentive. Jordan always does an amazing job; I've never been so happy with my cut and colour! He also takes the time to teach me things about my hair, whether it's the type of shampoo I should use or the best way to curl it. I won't go anywhere else!

   Wow wow wow!!! I can’t recommend the Petra Salon enough for their amazing and very talented hair stylists. I had my first experience in the Petra Salon for my hen in August 2019 thanks to my bridesmaid Leanne. I knew from then that Jordan was an amazing, experienced and knowledgable hair stylist. I then booked the Petra salon for our wedding in November. I had 2 trails on the first one Jordan did 3 styles which were all amazing however I asked for another to try one last style and that was the one!!!I Helen the manager spent a long time on the phone with me discussing the day in detail, the expertise and professionalism from Helen was impeccable. Jordan made me feel so relaxed, nothing I asked was a bother and he too explained the technical side of different hair styles. Bella joined Jordan on the day again the styles were just beautiful and she too made us all feel at ease and comfortable to be around on such a special day. Thank you so much to all of you! I can’t wait to return for my Christmas night out hair and make up❤️ Louise xx
