   My Mum and myself have been going to this hairdressers for years, lovely people, got to know very well. My Mother had passed away last year and had not had a chance to get in to the hairdressers with the lockdown to tell them and they had opened a couple of months ago but within a short time had closed and I didn't realise that the owner was ill. I had saw her out last year and had saw her a few months ago outside the shop knew very well, so sad to hear that they were closed due to the owners ill health, will miss, nice people and did a great job on my hair.

   Cheap and quick haircut. £7.50 will get the job done which is the lowest price you'll find near student digs. Nothing exciting, but it's good for a tidy up. Opening times are vague though. Take them with a pinch of salt.

   Been getting my hair cut here for near enough four years. The staff are really friendly and it's affordable for students. If you've been looking for a no-nonsense traditional barber in the area (not easy) you can't go wrong with Jackanan.
