Cannot recommend Gratitude enough! After being a client for 6 years I've moved out of the area now and wouldn't think of trying to find a new stylist. George, Victoria and James are so lovely and welcoming, and I've had my hair done by all 3 and always been so happy with the results!
I have been with Gratitude hairdresser for a year now and I cannot recommend it more. Victoria understood my hair which is curly with lots of volume which was previously damaged by henna colouring and after 4 visits in one year Victoria managed to get my hair beautifully healthy as it looks in the picture and my friends complement me every time we meet. As well as this they offer a fix price for colour, cut, highlights and blow dry which is a big saving in comparison to my previous hair salon in town
Fabulous salon! I've been coming here for a few years now and I am always really happy with my hair coloring and styling and advice given too. Would not go anywhere else. Booking system online is really easy and I usually get a slot booked really quickly too so great if you leave everything to the last minute like me. I book with Victoria - she is so friendly ,chatty and warm. It's like catching up with a friend every few months!
As always delighted with my colour and cut from George. I’ve been going to the salon for years and each time leave feeling happy and refreshed with my hairstyle. The staff are all lovely and so welcoming. Attentive to your needs and styles for your hair. Can’t recommend them enough.
This was my first time having my hair done by a male stylist, and Jamie at Gratitude Hair Studio truly exceeded my expectations! He was so patient, professional, and attentive — from the perfect blonde highlights to the fresh cut and flawless styling. I felt completely comfortable and in good hands. My hair was literally shining in Amsterdam — I got so many compliments! Thank you, Jamie, for making me feel confident and fabulous. Highly recommend!

Leaving a review not to be nasty, but to hopefully help anyone who is thinking about going to this salon. I had 100% virgin hair which took me many years to grow out. I have been blonde on and off my whole life and took the Covid opportunity to bring some health back to my hair. I wanted to go as blonde as possible with either highlights or a balayage. The consultation maybe lasted 2 minutes tops, and he completely ruined my hair. I got a tint to cover up my greys which has now ruined my hair because it’s awful/coppery and I can’t get rid of it. It would have been better just to leave that out, the highlights would have been good enough to cover this up, but again such a massive lack of consultation. My hair was done by a man whose name I don’t remember. He was nice enough but just really need to spend a lot of time on consultation. And if someone has 100% virgin hair that’s taken many years to grow out, PLEASE BE EXTREMELY RESPECTFUL OF THIS! I walked out beyond disappointed. I honestly don’t know why this place has so many great reviews. *Edit to George: I was there July last year. My reviews whether bad or good I do not leave lightly. Other business reviews have nothing to do with my appalling experience at your salon. The fact that you’re defending yourself after doing such a terrible job just proves my point. You’ve certainly lost a client and hopefully this can be a warning to others.
