Was looking for Les Porters but I was low on time and came across Kanes, so I knocked in. Sound staff, good haircut, I'll be back again.
I would not recommend this salon based purely on the lack of customer service. I was booked in to have a cut and colour. I have naturally curly hair and from the moment I sat down, was made to feel like an inconvenience. Had I known my natural curls would be problematic, I would have straightened my hair prior to the appointment, however, I would expect a competent hairdresser to be able to work with my hair in its natural state. I was in the salon for about 10 minutes and in that short space of time felt belittled by a hairdresser who clearly had an issue with carrying out this additional task. I showed photos of the type of colour I would like and this was met with her disapproval. I do not know how good they are as hairdressers but I was not willing to spend my money in a salon that does not treat me kindly as a paying customer. This experience left me feeling very upset.

Asked for a trim but they look 6 inches off, hair wasn’t damaged to need it but so much hyped chit chat they mixed me up with another customer. Can’t rectify for obvious reasons but didn’t charge.
I've been going here for years. Michael and all the staff are fab, friendly and good craic. Great at what they do.
Took my 4 year old daughter in to get her hair cut short. Can't rate the place enough, they were absolutely amazing with her and managed to keep her calm. Staff are amazing!
